Introduction - Publish to Server

Updated on June 30, 2020

Once you have created and debugged a Pega Robot Studio project, you can promote the project from the design environment, Pega Robot Studio, to the runtime environment, Pega Robot Runtime. Pega Robot Runtime is a desktop application that was created to run the compiled projects you build in Pega Robot Studio. Pega Robotic Automation provides several ways to deploy solutions.

  • Network Share — Deployment files are saved to a network share that can be accessed by the Runtime desktops/users.
  • Web server — Deployment files are saved to a web server that can be accessed by the Pega Robot Runtime desktops/users.
  • Local system — Deployment files are copied to each Runtime user’s workstation.
  • Pega Robot Manager — Deployment files are automatically uploaded from Pega Robot Studio to Pega Robot Manager for further assignment to end users. Pega Robot Manager lets you configure, manage, and deploy Pega Robot Studio projects from a centralized web portal.
