Operating system support matrix

Updated on May 30, 2023

Pega Robotic Automation runs on several versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems to support automating applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and more. Reference the following table to see which versions of Windows our Quality Assurance team uses when testing Pega Robotic Automation. For more information, see Pega Robotic Automation 19.1 build notes.

To download a build, see Download Pega RPA software. For information about system requirements and installing Pega Robotic Automation, see Pega Robotic Automation 19.1 Installation instructions.

Note: Best practice is to turn off automatic updates of your Windows operating system. Only deploy new versions after you have had time to smoke test your automations. We also recommend turning off automatic updates for the applications that you automate, including browsers.
