When I update a solution, why do I receive the error Converted:0. Not Converted:1?

Updated on September 10, 2021

Programs affected: Robot Studio plug-in for Microsoft Visual Studio

When updating an older Robot Studio solution, you might receive a Conversion report that says no files were converted. For example, the report will say:

Converted: 0.

Not Converted: 1.

Here is an example:

Conversion report

Most likely, the solution updated just fine. These messages are a byproduct of Visual Studio and are not relevant to the Pega Robot Studio solution. If, however, a solution does not update correctly, Studio generates an error message and the project is in an unloaded state.
