Configuring signatures

Pega Sales Automation supports both DocuSign integration and the Signature Capture control for signing documents directly in the application.

Note: Signature Capture control is available only in Pega Sales Automation and Pega Sales Automation for Financial Services.

Saving user signatures by using the Signature Capture control

Use the Signature Capture control to capture a user's signature in both desktop applications and mobile apps. The signature that the user provides is added to the work item as an image attachment.

Before you begin: Enable the Signature Capture control in the User portal. For more information, see Enabling application features
  1. In the User portal navigation pane, click Opportunities.
  2. Select and open any opportunity in the Proposal stage that you want to modify.
  3. In the opportunity status ribbon, click ProposalProposal development.
  4. In the Proposal signing dialog box, sign the document, click Accept, and then click Submit to confirm.

Saving user signatures by using the Signature Capture control in Pega Sales Automation for Financial Services

This procedure describe steps in the Pega Sales Automation for Financial Services application.

Before you begin: Enable the Signature Capture control in the User portal. For more information, see Enabling application features.
  1. In the User portal navigation pane, click Opportunities.
  2. Select and open any opportunity in the Proposal stage that you want to modify.
  3. In the opportunity status ribbon, click ProposalReview proposal, and then click Go.
    Product details from the Analysis stage are attached.
  4. In the Proposal signing dialog box, sign the document, click Accept, and then click Submit to confirm.

Saving user signatures by using the Signature Capture control in Pega Sales Automation for Insurance

This procedure describe steps in the Pega Sales Automation for Insurance application.

Before you begin: Enable the Signature Capture control in the User portal. For more information, see Enabling application features.
  1. In the User portal navigation pane, click Opportunities.
  2. Select and open any opportunity in the Proposal stage that you want to modify.
  3. In the opportunity status ribbon, click ProposalProposal development.
  4. Click Add a proposal document.
  5. In your local directory, search for and attach the document that you want to sign.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Click Accept.
  8. In the Proposal signing dialog box, sign the document, click Accept, and then click Submit to confirm.

Saving user signatures by using the Signature Capture control in Pega Sales Automation for Healthcare

This procedure describe steps in the Pega Sales Automation for Healthcare application.

Before you begin: Enable the Signature Capture control in the User portal. For more information, see Enabling application features.
  1. In the User portal navigation pane, click Opportunities.
  2. Select and open any opportunity in the Proposal stage that you want to modify.
  3. In the opportunity status ribbon, click ProposalProposal development.
  4. Click Add a proposal document.
  5. In your local directory, search for and attach the document that you want to sign.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Click Accept.
  8. In the Proposal signing dialog box, sign the document, click Accept, and then click Submit to confirm.
