Connecting to the Hoover's Dun and Bradstreet Direct 2.0 Data connector

To stream and integrate Hoover's Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) data across company departments and processes with the D&B Direct API, you must first establish connectivity between the Hoover's Dun & Bradstreet Direct 2.0 Data connector and Pega Sales Automation, and then enable the connectivity.

Pega Sales Automation Implementation Guide
  1. Establish connectivity between the Hoover's D&B Direct 2.0 Data connector and Pega Sales Automation.
    1. Install the Hoover's Dun & Bradstreet Direct 2.0 Data connector by following the steps in the Hoover's Dun & Bradstreet Direct 2.0 Data Installation Guide.
    2. Log in to Pega Sales Automation.
    3. In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, click Your application nameDefinition.
    4. In the Built on applications section, add DnBapi.
    5. In the Application rulesets section, add SA-DnB.
    6. Click Save.
  2. Enable connectivity between the Hoover's D&B Direct 2.0 Data connector and Pega Sales Automation
    1. In the User portal, from the Explorer panel, select Administration.
    2. Go to Toggle Settings, and then select the Enable DnB checkbox.
    3. Click Save.
  3. Check the Hoover's D&B Direct 2.0 Data connector functionality.
    You can use the following steps as an example.
    1. Log in to Pega Sales Automation as a sales representative.
    2. In the navigation pane, click Organization and select an organization.
    3. To see a list of organizations from the Hoover's Dun & Bradstreet database, in the upper-right corner of the screen, click Enrich D&B.
    4. Select an organization and click OK.
Result: After connecting to D&B, the information from the D&B database overrides the already existing information in the application. If some fields are empty, these fields are populated with information from the D&B database. You can customize the overridden fields in your application implementation layer by editing the MapDnBOrganizationsListExtenstion data transform.
