Installing the Voice AI desktop app
Install the Voice AI desktop app to capture audio streams from agent desktops and route them to other components in the Voice AI architecture for processing and feedback to agent desktops.
Ensure that the agent desktop runs Windows OS and has a softphone application installed, and that the agent users have the required privileges. For more information, see Prerequisites.
You can install the Voice AI desktop app on each agent’s computer or distribute the app through a virtual desktop environment, such as Citrix.
Installing Voice AI desktop app on a single computer
Follow these steps to install the Voice AI desktop app on an individual agent computer.
- Double-click the Voice AI installation executable.
- Follow the system prompts.
Installing Voice AI desktop app on multiple computers
Follow these steps to install the Voice AI desktop app on multiple agent computers through Citrix virtual desktop.
- Download the Voice AI installation executable to the Citrix XenApp server. For more information, refer to the XenApp documentation in the Citrix product documentation portal.
- Double-click the installation executable.
- Follow the system prompts.
- In Citrix StoreFront, specify the location of the executable file for the Voice AI desktop app.
- Distribute the Voice AI desktop app to the Citrix receivers.
