SCE provides the capability to bypass the manual split claim function. Manual split claim logic will be skipped when any of the basic validations fail. In addition, the manual split claim functionality can be disabled based on the presence of certain event codes that have been configured in the CE_SplitClaim decision table.

If an Event code that is configured in the CE_SplitClaim decision table is raised during adjudication, the split claim option for that claim will be greyed-out on the Actions menu.
