Event code management

Event codes are used by Smart Claims Engine to report issues or problems that arise during the processing of a claim. Examples where event codes can be set are; when the claim fails to pass a business policy, or if a call to an external service fails. The Smart Claims Engine reviews event codes set during processing in the Event code review (SER) module to determine the next steps based on their configuration. This section covers the configurations and tools to manage the event codes in the Smart Claims Engine.

Note: The initial implementation of the SCE does not contain any configurations for event codes. The event codes to be utilized can be configured using the individual or bulk options detailed in the sections below.
