Event group fields
The table below shows the fields that are used to manage event groups. Fields with an asterisk (*) are required:
Section | Field | Description |
Event group | Event group name* | Alphanumeric field that contains the name used to identify the event group that will be applied during event resolution. The name is unique. |
Event group | Description | The description of the event group. |
Event group | Effective Date * | The date on which the defined event group becomes active. This date refers to the date the claim is adjudicated in the SCE and must be today’s date, or a date in the future. |
Event group | End Date* | The date on which the defined event group becomes inactive. This date refers to the date the claim is adjudicated in the SCE and must be equal to or after the effective date. |
Threshold value | Resubmission threshold limit | The maximum number of claims that the examiner can reprocess as a group before a mass reprocess cycle is automatically engaged. |
Threshold value | Threshold override roles | The available user roles that will enable the resubmission threshold limit to be overridden. Only available if a threshold number limit is defined. |
Threshold value | Reporting threshold number | The number of claims that can be included in an event group before a report is generated. The generation of this report would be used to potentially indicate an issue in the system that might need resolution. |
Threshold value | Reporting work queue | The work queue that is configured for the threshold report to be routed for review. Only available if a reporting threshold number is defined. |
Event codes | Event code / name | Event codes and their name that can be used in conjunction with the categories and properties to extend the group to multiple event codes. |
Categories and properties | Categories* | The category or class of property used to group event codes. |
Categories and properties | Properties* | The property on the claim that is compared to other claims setting the event code when an event group is configured. When multiple claims match these properties with the event group configured on the claim, they are grouped. If multiple properties are listed, all must match to be part of the group. |
