Event group fields

The table below shows the fields that are used to manage event groups. Fields with an asterisk (*) are required:

Event groupEvent group name*Alphanumeric field that contains the name used to identify the event group that will be applied during event resolution. The name is unique.
Event groupDescriptionThe description of the event group.
Event groupEffective Date *The date on which the defined event group becomes active. This date refers to the date the claim is adjudicated in the SCE and must be today’s date, or a date in the future.
Event groupEnd Date*The date on which the defined event group becomes inactive. This date refers to the date the claim is adjudicated in the SCE and must be equal to or after the effective date.
Threshold valueResubmission threshold limitThe maximum number of claims that the examiner can reprocess as a group before a mass reprocess cycle is automatically engaged.
Threshold valueThreshold override rolesThe available user roles that will enable the resubmission threshold limit to be overridden. Only available if a threshold number limit is defined.
Threshold valueReporting threshold number The number of claims that can be included in an event group before a report is generated. The generation of this report would be used to potentially indicate an issue in the system that might need resolution.
Threshold valueReporting work queueThe work queue that is configured for the threshold report to be routed for review. Only available if a reporting threshold number is defined.
Event codesEvent code / nameEvent codes and their name that can be used in conjunction with the categories and properties to extend the group to multiple event codes.
Categories and propertiesCategories*The category or class of property used to group event codes.
Categories and propertiesProperties*The property on the claim that is compared to other claims setting the event code when an event group is configured. When multiple claims match these properties with the event group configured on the claim, they are grouped. If multiple properties are listed, all must match to be part of the group.
