Overview

Updated on April 26, 2021

The Smart Claims Engine utilizes an orchestration model that enables clients to define the functionality through which the claim will pass through as part of the processing. The basic element of this orchestration is a module. This is a unique rule that is used to manage that specific process. Modules are added to a sequence and then sequences are used in orchestrations. Modules and sequences can be utilized across multiple orchestrations to support re-use.

The below diagram depicts the hierarchy how modules are included in a sequence and subsequently a sequence is included in an orchestration.

The configurations for modules, sequences and orchestrations can be found in the Module configuration tab of the Claims Engine Configuration screen in Dev Studio.
