Smart Claims Engine’s Event group feature supports the automatic reprocessing of certain pended claims with commonly shared attributes, including Event codes and other configurable properties within billing provider, member, subscriber and benefit categories. The user creates an Event group instance and associates to it specific attributes that are used to capture “like” or similar claims. SCE then allows the user to resolve in a single action the event (or events) that bound all claims to that Event group.
