Optional: Installing the Accumulator Manager

Updated on December 8, 2021

Pega Smart Claims Engine for Healthcare includes the Accumulator Manager that allows you to manage the accumulators in the Smart Claims Engine. Optionally, you can install and use the Accumulator Manager that is included with the application, or use another accumulator of your choice.

Pega Smart Claims Engine for Healthcare Update Guide

The Accumulator Manager stores use history that you can integrate with other Pega healthcare applications such as Product Composer System, as well as non-Pega systems that support end-to-end claims adjudication. You can use the Accumulator Manager to track the use of benefits such as visits, units and days, financial payments such as deductibles and out-of-pocket limits, as well as referral and authorization usage.
