Manual claim entry
Smart Claims Engine allows you to manually enter professional, institutional, and dental claims for adjudication. You may also indicate a claim is for dental predetermination of benefits during dental claim entry.
From the left panel, click + New>Claim. The Choose a claim type modal appears. Select the claim type you wish to enter (Professional, Institutional, or Dental) and click Continue.
The New Claim screen appears. The steps for entering information appear on the right side of the screen. The steps are visible during the entire claim entry process.
The top right side of the screen has buttons allowing you to Discard your claim entry or to Save for later.
Claim entry for all claims types follows the same steps, but the claim type selected drives differences in some screens and available entry options.
