Enabling third-party merchant data providers

Updated on March 21, 2023

For card-absent transactions, Pega Smart Dispute for Issuers can obtain online merchant data from third-parties such as Ethoca and Verifi to prevent dispute claims where possible. Enable the use of third-party resolution networks by completing the following steps.

Pega Smart Dispute for Issuers Implementation Guide
To enable Pega Smart Dispute for Issuers to obtain online merchant data from a third-party provider, your organization must have signed agreements with Ethoca and/or Verifi. If the agreements are not in place, Pega Smart Dispute for Issuers can use transaction details provided by a bank card organization such as Mastercard or Visa.
  1. Click Dev StudioSmart Dispute Configurations Third-Party Resolution Network.
  2. Click the Third-Party Merchant Details tab.
  3. On the Third Party Merchant Details tab, decide whether to use third-party-provided merchant data by selecting the appropriate option:
    • To use merchant data from a third-party provider, click Yes.
