Modifying automatic correspondence

Updated on March 21, 2023

Review customer-facing correspondence with the bank and determine whether they want to use a Pega system or an external system.

Pega Smart Dispute for Issuers Implementation Guide
Before you begin: Expect to update the content of any correspondence from the bank to the customer, with the bank approved verbiage.

Any forms related to the chargeback lifecycle or correspondence with card association (Visa, MasterCard, and so on) are part of the customer compliance subscription, and do not need to be edited.

  1. In the Dev Studio header search text field, enter the name of the correspondence rule that you want to modify and select the correspondence rule from the results.
    For example: AcknowledgeClaim
  2. Click Save As.
  3. In the Apply to field, select the appropriate implementation class for your application.
  4. In the Add to ruleset list, select the ruleset for your application.
  5. Click Create and open.
  6. Modify the properties or content of the letter, if needed.
  7. Click Save.
