Simulation mode

Updated on February 9, 2022

When you enable Ethoca Eliminator simulation mode, Pega Smart Dispute for Issuers simulates the Eliminator service responses by using specialized data transforms.

For example, if you want to simulate an Eliminator response that includes merchant order details, configure the Simulate_EliminatorResponseGET data transform. The application interprets that as the simulated response from the merchant.

Note: The Case Outcome services uses the PUT HTTP method and does not return any output other than a status code. As a result, no data transforms to simulate responses exist for this service. When simulation mode is enabled, the status code for the Case Outcome service is set to 200, simulating a successful outcome.

The following table lists the data transform rules that are used to simulate each Eliminator service response message object:

ObjectSimulated data transform
Merchant ProfileSimulate_MerchantProfile
Account ProfileSimulate_AccountProfile
Transaction DetailsSimulate_TransactionDetails
Order ItemsSimulate_OrderItems
Credit ReimbursementsSimulate_CreditReimbursements
