Configuring appeals

Updated on March 18, 2021

The ProcessAppeal flow creates a new appeal for a claim unit and handles the processing of it after it is appealed for. This is used when the IncludeAppealCase Dynamic System Setting is set to false and when the dealer appeals for a claim by opening the assignment available. Complete the following steps to configure appeals.

  1. In the navigation panel of Dev Studio, click Records.

  2. Click SysAdmin > Dynamic System Settings.

  3. Click the filter for Setting Purpose and search for IncludeAppealCase.

  4. Click the rule to open it.

  5. Configure as needed and save the rule into your implementation layer. For additional information about locked and unlocked rulesets, see Copying a rule or data instance.

  6. Click Save.

  7. In the navigation panel of Dev Studio, click Records.

  8. Click Process > Flow.

  9. Click the filter for Flow Name and search for ProcessAppeal.

  10. Click the rule to open it.

  11. Configure as needed and save the rule into your implementation layer. For additional information about locked and unlocked rulesets, see Copying a rule or data instance.

  12. Click Save.
