Configuring STAR integration for claims

Establish STAR integration for claims.

  1. Log in to the application as an administrator.

  2. In Dev Studio, search for CreateClaimsand select the service SOAP file from the results

  3. Click ActionsRun to open the Simulate SOAP Service Execution screen.

  4. Select SupplySOAP request envelope and paste the XML format claim details data required to create the claim. You can find the sample XML files in the \Sample Data folder in the zip file a customer receives.

    Note: Claim will not be created if any STAR input XML validation errors or any exceptions occur.
  5. Click Execute, and review the success message that will also be sent to the external partner.

  6. In the Explorer panel, click App.

  7. Search for the Pega-Mfg-AMS-Work-WR-CL-ClaimFile class, and open it to see its instances.

  8. Click on the claim order number created in the step 4.

  9. Verify the data uploaded based on the claim details provided in the step 4, and click Submit to generate the claim.
