Recurring failure

Updated on March 18, 2021

Record all repairs for a serial number and configure presets to display if the same repair was done in the past.

If a failure recurs multiple times for the same product (especially, for automobiles), the dealer and repair technician need to pay special attention to the current repair to avoid another failure (or be notified of a buyback situation). The repair order case type has a History tab that records all repairs that have been performed on the selected serial number and based on preset configurations, an indication is shown on top of the repair order process to signify if the same issue had been reported and fixed for the serial number in the past.
