Creating a new operator ID to set up the application

Updated on June 15, 2021

Create a new operator ID and identify the operator as an application setup operator. You can log in with this operator to run the New Application wizard which creates a new application.

Pega Warranty Implementation Guide
  1. Log in to Dev Studio with the [email protected]operator ID and the password that you specified for that operator.
  2. Save a copy of the existing [email protected] operator and give it a name that identifies it as an application setup operator.
  3. Add the PegaWarrantyClaims:AppSetup access group to the new operator record, and then click the radio button, to the left of the access group, to select it as the default access group.
When this access group is selected as the default access group, the New Application wizard opens immediately when you log in with this operator ID.
  4. On the Work tab, update the organizational unit to point to the organizational structure created as a part of the prerequisite steps.
  5. Save the new application setup operator.
