Extending core parts return

Updated on June 15, 2021

The Core parts case type uses multiple rules, and data transforms that must be overwritten in the implementation layer with your specific business logic.

Pega Warranty Implementation Guide
  1. In the navigation panel of Dev Studio, click Records.
  2. Click Data Model > Data Transform.
  3. Click the filter for Name and search for SetCoreClaimStatus.
  4. Click the rule to open it.
  5. Save the rule into your implementation layer. For additional information about locked and unlocked rulesets, see Copying a rule or data instance.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Repeat the previous steps using the IsReturnItemInspectionRequired, ChargebackforCoreClaim and SetCoreDispositionPercentage rules.
