Reviewing existing part returns

The CheckifPRExists data transform checks if part returns exists for a claim.

Complete the following steps to configure the data transform.

  1. In the navigation panel of Dev Studio, click Records.
  2. Click Data Model > Data Transform.
  3. Click the filter for Name and search for CheckifPRExists.
  4. Click the corresponding rule to open it.
  5. Configure as needed and save the rule into your implementation layer. For additional information about locked and unlocked rulesets, see Copying a rule or data instance.
  6. Click Save.

The ValidateManualPartsReturnRequest rule validates the parts when a part return is requested manually. The following are the steps to configure.

  1. In the navigation panel of Dev Studio, click Records.
  2. Click Process > Validate.
  3. Click the filter for Validate Name and search for ValidateManualPartsReturnRequest.
  4. Click the corresponding rule to open it.
  5. Configure as needed and save the rule into your implementation layer. For additional information about locked and unlocked rulesets, see Copying a rule or data instance.
  6. Click Save.

    Claim Analysis Flow determines the Claim Assignment and based on the preset disposition, invokes the Claim Assessment Flow. Business logic enables the Parts Return Process as well if needed. The status at the end of the process will be Deny, Pay or Paid Adjusted based on the action taken.

    The following are the steps to configure.

  1. In the navigation panel of Dev Studio, click Records.
  2. Click Process > Flow.
  3. Click the filter for Flow Name and search for InvokePartsReturn.
  4. Click the corresponding rule to open it.
  5. Configure as needed and save the rule into your implementation layer. For additional information about locked and unlocked rulesets, see Copying a rule or data instance.
  6. Click Save.
