The Warranty coverage validation allows you to rank the warranty contracts that are active on a product. Based on the ranking, the system will associate the top ranked contract for the coverage when a claim is submitted.

To configure a coverage validation:

1. In Dev Studio, search for WarrantyCoverageRankings and select the decision table rule in the PegaMfg-Data-Warranty class.
2. Save the rule into your implementation layer. For additional information, see Copying a rule or data instance.
3. Click Save.
