Mapping a Warranty survey with the repair type

To fully configure surveys in the Warranty application, first create survey questions and then map them with the repair order type. A repair technician uses these survey questions to troubleshoot the problem.

For information about how to create a survey, see Creating a survey.

After creating survey questions, as a Warranty administrator, map the survey with the repair type by completing the following steps.

  1. Log in as a Pega Warranty administrator using the WarSysAdmin operator ID.
  2. In the Dev Studio header search text field, enter SetSurveyName and select the data transform from the results.
  3. To save the rule in a different application, click Save as. Otherwise, click Check out.
  4. Map the survey name with the repair type.
  5. Click Check in.
  6. In the Dev Studio header search text field, enter DiagnosticsEnabled and select the dynamic system setting from the results.
  7. Change the dynamic system setting value to true and click Save.
    If the value is set to false, then the survey questions are displayed instead of the diagnosis questions.
