Compare step metrics, such as average steps across teams, or build process maps by using the data in the step export. All of the fields in this export are per step.

The following list defines each field in the step export:

step_guid

The primary key that uniquely identifies the step.

Data type: VARCHAR

workflow_instance_id

The workflow instance to which this step belongs. If two steps share the same instance_id value, the two steps are part of the same instance.

Data type: VARCHAR

path_id

An identifier for the ordered steps of an instance. If two instances share the same path_id value, you can describe the two instances as having identical steps in the same order of appearance.

Data type: VARCHAR

workflow_id

An identifer for the workflow name of the instance.

Data type: VARCHAR

workflow_name

Name of the workflow to which this step belongs.

Data type: VARCHAR

shift_date

Shift day on which the associate performed the instance step.

Data type: DATE in the format of YYYY/MM/DD

network_id

Domain account of the associate who performed the workflow instance step.

Data type: VARCHAR

level_1_id

Unique identifier of the next level up from the associate level. This value is typically the unique ID of the team for the associate.

Data type: INTEGER

level_1_name

Label that is assigned to the level_1_id field. This value is typically the team name for the associate.

Data type: VARCHAR

step_num

Step number to indicate where this step occurred in the workflow instance. The system orders steps by time stamp and assigns step numbers beginning with 1.

Data type: INTEGER

category

Category of the application that the associate used in the step.

Note: The Workforce Intelligence administrator defines the application categories.

Data type: VARCHAR

exe_name

Name of the executable file of a Windows application, such as notepad.exe, or the browser name for a web application event, such as chrome.exe, that the associate used in the step.

Data type: VARCHAR

domain

Domain of the web application, such as www.pega.com, that the associate used in the step.

Data type: VARCHAR

app_value

Name of the application that the associate used in the step. This value is typically the exe_name value for a Windows application executable file or the domain name for a web browser application.

Data type: VARCHAR

app_alias

Alias of the application that the associate used in the step. The Workforce Intelligence administrator assigns aliases to applications.

Data type: VARCHAR

screen_name

Screen name or title of the application that the associate used in the step.

Data type: VARCHAR(MAX)

screen_alias

Display name, based on screen rules, of the screen_text, url, or url_title value used in this step. The administrator creates screen rules in Workforce Intelligence to change the display names for screens.

Data type: VARCHAR(MAX)

screen_url

URL for the web application that the associate used in the step.

Note: For Windows applications, this field contains the NULL value.

Data type: VARCHAR(MAX)

screen_url_path

Path portion of the URL for the web application that the associate used in this step.

Note: For Windows applications, this field contains the NULL value.

Data type: VARCHAR(MAX)

start_time

The time when the step began.

Data type: UTC TIMESTAMP in the format of YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss.000

end_time

The time when the step ended.

Data type: UTC TIMESTAMP in the format of YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss.000

duration_ms

Number of milliseconds that the step lasted, based on the difference between the end_time and start_time value.

Data type: BIGINT

productive_duration_ms

Number of milliseconds of time that the associate spent in all productive applications in the instance.

Data type: BIGINT

idle_duration_ms

Number of milliseconds of idle time in the step.

Data type: BIGINT

non_work_duration_ms

Number of milliseconds that the associate spent in all non-work applications in the step.

Data type: BIGINT

unknown_duration_ms

Number of milliseconds that the associate spent in all unknown applications in the step.

Data type: BIGINT

wait_duration_ms

Number of milliseconds that the associate spent waiting in any application that reported wait time during the step.

Data type: BIGINT

waste_duration_ms

Number of milliseconds that the associate spent idle or in any non-work or unknown applications during the step.

Data type: BIGINT

occ_duration_ms

Number of milliseconds that the associate spent idle during the step, where the associate identified the idle time by using an off computer code (OCC). You can capture this information only if you enable the OCC feature.

cutcopy_count

Total number of times that the associate pressed Ctrl+X and Ctrl+C during the step.

Data type: INTEGER

ctrlv_count

Total number of times that the associate pressed Ctrl+V during the step.

Data type: INTEGER

keypress_count

Total number of key presses that the associate completed during the step. This number includes the key presses for any cut, copy, paste, and error keys.

Data type: INTEGER

errorkeypress_count

Total number of Delete key presses and Backspace key presses during the workflow instance.

Data type: INT

mouseclick_count

Number of mouse or wheel button clicks during the step.

Note: If the mouse has two buttons, this number includes both the left and right button.

Data type: INTEGER

mousewheel_count

Number of mouse wheel spins during the step.

Note: Mouse wheel spin behavior differs among applications. Most applications implement scrolling, but some applications implement zooming.

Data type: INTEGER

scroll_count

Number of scrolls during the step. Scrolling typically means that the associate wanted to view something that was not visible in the current size of the window application frame or screen frame.

Data type: INTEGER

windowmovesize_count

The number of times the associate moved or resized the window of an application on the screen during the step.

Data type: INTEGER

step_cost

Duration of the step in hours multiplied by the hourly cost (hourly rate).

Note: The Workforce Intelligence administrator defines the hourly rate on the Application Administration page.

Data type: DECIMAL

day

The day that Workforce Intelligence received the events of the step.

Data type: VARCHAR in the format of YYYYMMDD
