LookUpList correctly executes during SSO login with model operator
Resolved in Pega Version 8.7
After configuring SSO to create operators on fly using a model operator, a new user logging in for the very first time had their operator ID created using the model operator, but after upgrade new users logging in to the system received the error "Only authenticated client may start this activity: RULE-OBJ-ACTIVITY @BASECLASS LOOKUPLIST". This was due to the methods used for additional security on the activity @baseclass LookUpList which allows it to only be run by authenticated users, and has been resolved.

Updated expression handling when not using client side validation
Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3
After upgrade, a declare expression used to calculate the end date when creating a schedule case was not populating the result. This was traced to a missed use case for evaluating expressions when 'Enable client side validation' is unchecked, and has been resolved.

Work status icons work correctly when using localization
Resolved in Pega Version 8.3
The pyWorkAssignmentStatus control was not displaying the status flags/icons for localized work status values due to a match failure caused by the system using the localized text for the pyAssignmentStatus to perform a string comparison against the hard-coded English values. To correct this, the control pyWorkAssignmentStatus has been modified to run the comparisons with the new string "assignmentStatus" instead of with the localized text.

Expand Pane icon responds to enter key when using JAWS
Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3
In an Operator ID rule in Dev Studio, pressing the Enter key when focused on an Access Group expand icon caused the focus on the page to move to the top of the Contact Information frame (top left corner of the Frame). The only way to use the enter key to expand the pane without the refocus was to tab to the arrow icon and then tab a second time before pressing enter. This was traced to the expand caret icon being focussed twice due to the tabIndex for both the TD and SPAN elements holding the caret icon: TD had a focus element for accessibility of the grid, and SPAN had it for the expand pane accessibility. This has been resolved by adding a check condition before adding tabIndex to the first cell in the Grid.

Case Manager email correspondence opens when encryption and obfuscation are used
Resolved in Pega Version 8.3
If the urlEncryption (true) and submitURLObfuscation(required) settings were enabled, it was not possible to open correspondence emails sent in Case Manager portal. No issue was seen when submitURLObfuscation was set to "optional" (which allows the server to accept URLS with either clear-text or obfuscated strings). Investigation showed the obfuscated values for pyActivity were not part of the HTTP request generated when the Data-Corr-Email attachment is clicked, leading to the system blocking the pop-up window request. Because bEncryptURLs, which is being set in the fragment DesktopWrapper_Variables, is not available in the harness context, the SafeURL method toURL therefore was not encrypting the URL. This has been resolved by setting both bEncryptURLs and pega.ctx.bEncryptURLs to true in the HTML fragment.

Updated logic for Bulk Upload count when background processing is used
Resolved in Pega Version 8.3
When multiple items were queued as part of "Bulk Upload" and the "Transfer To" operation was used with "BULK PROCESS in BACKGROUND", discrepancies were seen in the email received. For example, if two items were selected for transfer, email notifications stated that 1 item was selected and 1 item was processed instead of 2. This was traced to using 'process in background': when selected during bulk processing, the first record is processed in the foreground and remaining records are processed in the background. When the system sent the email notification once the background process was done, the total records computation was not considering the foreground-processed record, and the count was off. The timing logic has been updated to account for the foreground record to resolve this.

Batching now enabled when using IH Summary shape in substrategies
Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.4
Batching was not being enabled when using IH Summary shape in substrategies. This was traced to the IH_SUMMARY_CACHE field not automatically being passed to sub-strategies, and has been corrected.

Threads will be updated to maintain assembly context when using Static Assembler
Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.4
When running the Static Assembler utility from UI, the assembler process completed successfully but the PegaRULES.log was flooded with the FATAL exception "Usage error - next Executable not based on current". This error was generated from com.pega.pegarules.session.internal.mgmt.Executable constructor, and indicated an issue with the thread context being different from the assembly context. To resolve this, the system has been modified to update the context of thread to what is expected as assembly context.
