SR-D32525 · Issue 505467

Dirty check added to offer save/discard changes when closing tab

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.4

With the OOTB section enabled, performing a change in the form (changing a text value, selecting a option in a dropdown, etc.) and closing the case generated an unexpected alert indicating that the case was changed and the modifications were lost. This differs from the previous behavior of showing the section pyDirtyCheckConfirm which offered the opportunity to save the work. This was a missed use case and has been resolved by updating the system to perform a check for the dirty state when closing the interaction and show a modal dialog asking the user to choose either save/discard if dirty.

Fix inserted for CaseWorker portals using Microsoft Internet Explorer 8

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

CaseWorker portal links to open and interact with cases were not working in the Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 browser. This was caused by the method used to get the dynamic container not being supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, and has been resolved by changing the querySelector to get the proper class names.

Modified Dropdown to return JSON content type for use with ISAM

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

ISAM, a third-party tracking layer, embeds JavaScript code in text/html responses. The Dropdown control was returning JSON but in HTML content type, so sites that use ISAM found that the ISAM JS code was embedded and the Pega JS that parses the JSON response failed to execute. Changes have been made to the wrapper to ensure the desired behavior of Pega returning application/json content type for JSON responses instead of text/html.

Time-related RUFs now use operator's time zone

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

Date properties and Time properties were taking their reference from the server's default time zone, which created unexpected behaviors for operators in other time zones using start and end date functions. This has been resolved by updating the time-related RUFs to use the operator's defined time zone

Improved upgrade handling for tables using classes with property references

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.4

After upgrade, some page property values were blank and exposed database columns did not contain the values. Investigation showed that the reference properties did not have context and hence column population was not able to determine their value. To resolve this, instead of doing column population for all the columns, the system will identify classes that have property references and that are being optimized as part of upgrade process and maintain a list of specific columns to update.

Creation and testing corrected for ATOM server connection using Alfresco 4.2

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

When creating a new ATOM Server instance with Alfresco 4.2, an error was logged and shown on the screen. This process worked with Alfresco 4.0. In the process of upgrading openCMIS jars, Atom and SOAP server connectivity tests were also changed to use HTTP, and Atom Server connectivity tests should now work for all versions of Alfresco.

SR-114819 · Issue 175544

Localization added for currency values using commas vs decimal points

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

Excel within PRPC was not properly localizing for the use of decimal and comma as thousand and decimal separators for decimal/double currency property values, a use that is common in non-English installations. The records editor has been changed to support localization for properties of type double and decimal.
