Importing an archive no longer fails when using DynaTrace

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2.1

Importing an archive was failing when using the third party program DynaTrace. This was due to passivation during the import process, and the system has been modified to prevent this.

Report Def Filter using .pxObjClass returns all results

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2.1

Using .pxObjClass as a filter in Report Definitions resulted in different and/or incomplete Class arrays being built depending on how the Value field was populated. This was traced to an incorrect "if" check in objClassOptimizer causing class names to be missed, and has been fixed.

Use Pega Log Analyzer in place of Alerts.xls Excel Template

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2.1

A documentation error incorrectly referred to the Alerts.xls Excel template as being available on the PDN. That file is no longer available, and the Pega Log Analyzer should be used instead: https://pdn.pega.com/community/pega-exchange/pegarules-log-analyzer

Rule generation updated to handle related JSONs

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2.1

The system was failing to parse inbound JSONs when the corresponding Pega Data Model was generated using the same JSON, and was unable to use valuelist or pagelist properties for generating JSON to pass to connect-Rest Method. This generation and runtime of rest connector was failing when the same name property existed in multiple places with different modes and same levels. To support this use, the rule generation has been updated to correctly populate the qualifier name along with modified run time code to support mapping when same properties are there in the same class.

Null Boolean and datetime properties passed in command line extraction

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2.1

If a Boolean or a datetime Embedded valuelist /valuegroup /pagelist/page group property was in the WO blob but has no value when extracted from the command line using the -B and -J options, the value in the extract was not valid. This was traced to the handling for empty Boolean and datetime properties, and these properties will now be passed without modification when using the command line options -B and -J in XML output format or when running the extract from the UI.

Entropy pool explicitly coded for UNIX/Linux Oracle installations

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2.1

When running a new install on an Oracle database in a UNIX environment, install was failing repeatedly at the same point when attempting to import one of the application bundle components. This issue was traced to the way the newer versions of the Oracle JDBC driver gather entropy by defaulting to the use of /dev/random. When running in an environment where there this is not a lot of noise, the entropy pool will eventually be empty and the connection will be reset. Earlier versions of the Oracle JDBC driver did not see this issue. To resolve this, in the event that a deployment is being performed on a UNIX/Linux platform using an Oracle database, the -Djava.security.egd=file:///dev/urandom will be specified whenever a java utility is started.

Design-time email account accepts Data Page for port number

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2.1

When creating an Email Account rule (Integration-Resources), at design-time, the developer was prevented from using a Data Page reference as the Port number for the Sender or Receiver even though the run-time behavior of using a Data Page reference as a port worked. This has been resolved by removing the UI validation when the input starts with 'equal to', allowing Email Account save and connectivity testing to work with non-parameterized Data Page references for the port number in both Sender and Receiver configurations.

Managed unique constraint violation error for BIX

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2.1

When running multiple extracts using agents and pxExtractDataWithArgs at the same time, a unique constraint violation error was produced in the logs. This occurred when the extracts had the same time stamp down to the millisecond and an entry is added to the pr_log table when each extract starts. The pzInsKey for two extracts that run at the same time was identical, thus leading to this error. To resolve this, the thread name will be appended when the extract is run from an activity.
