Focus corrected for auto-complete fields in Microsoft Internet Explorer 11

When using the Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 browser, selecting the value for an auto-complete field caused the cursor to move to the next field and then return to the first field. This was an issue with the focus and on-change refresh within the dynamic layout, and has been fixed.

Attachment gadget updated for Firefox

When the Attachment gadget pops up using Firefox, it was not being correctly read with JAWS. This was an issue with the enter key press triggering a click event which did not have the expected code for Firefox. Changes have been made so the browser will consider the event object correctly.

Validation highlights correct field with duplicated sections

For business purposes, the same section was included twice in the UI to allow the left part to be used as read-only to see the old data while the right part was editable to modify existing data. When validation triggered an error to be displayed (required attribute set to Always) the message correctly appeared under the impacted control, but the RO label was shown in RED because the same labels were used for the read-only and editable components. This has been corrected to ensure that the correct labels get highlighted after the validation.

Added support for tabbing on fixed size freeze header in grid

When a grid was configured with many columns and the Freeze Header checkbox was selected from the presentation tab, clicking the header and pressing tab caused the header to move and lose alignment with the columns below. This was an unexpected use case, and support for tabbing on a Fixed size Freeze header in a grid has been added.

Scroll bars made consistent for RTE content

When content is entered beyond the boundaries of the Rich Text Editor (RTE) control, scroll bars appear to view the content. When attempting to print the case while in the Review/ Confirm harness with the same field, the complete content of the case was not shown on the print screen (scroll bars were still present). When the item was printed, the RTE contents did not print at all. The scroll bars are added by the browser to handle word wrap, but they are not used for RTE elements which have 'contenteditable' set to false. To resolve this, word wrap has been added for RTE in review and print options so browsers will behave consistently for elements which have the 'contenteditable' attribute as false.

Better click targeting of autocomplete to render data

Using a configuration with autocomplete and a dynamic select that is made visible only on certain values of auto-complete, selecting the autocomplete data by clicking at the end of the cell did not load the dynamic select. However, when clicking anywhere on the text or 3/4th of the cell, the dynamic select was displayed. This was an issue with the div for the onchange event, and has been corrected.

When a grid was configured with source as pagelist and cells with dropdowns as controls in it, attempting to filter the dropdown list displayed the filter window instead of the options in dropdown. This was caused by the filter logic not considering the filter by value setting and using the pyUILabel property by default for showing the unique values in the filter pop-up. To correct this, the system will consider the value of pyShowFilterUIBy while also allowing certain controls to maintain their format.

Smart Tip focus modified to check for Accessibility

If a text area was set with Smart Tip and used a hover event and required validation, actually hovering over the area displayed the OOB error for required and any click moved the focus to the text area. This was an error in Smart Tip which always set the focus to the target element, and has been resolved with added code to set focus and set blur on the target element only when accessibility is enabled.
