INC-172584 · Issue 654924

Deprecated NewWorkGadget registered for BAC

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

Logging in through the Administrator portal and launching a new project resulted in a blank screen. Investigation traced this to the Create New Work action called in the NewWorkGadget control; because the NewWorkGadget is no longer used by Pega, it was not registered for use with BAC. To resolve this, validations have been added for Control: NewWorkGadget, and the control has been marked as deprecated.

Cleaned up references to deprecated property type

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

While using the Pega API to update a case from one application to another, an error was generated indicating the system was unable to find a property definition of “caseTypeClass” in pyAddableWorkList of the workpage. All properties in the clipboard pages of the work page are validated during this update: in this case, the check was for the caseTypeClass property, which is no longer used but which was on the clipboard page. To resolve this error, all remaining references to property casetypeclass have been removed.

Code updated for bulk actions buttons

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

After upgrade, hovering over the "Filter case" button in pzBullkUpdate and the "Create" and "Clear" buttons in pzBulkAddActions caused them to disappear. The warning "This button generates markup that was used to support the older browsers. It is recommended that you update it to the newer markup" was shown, and an update code button appeared. Some custom rules exhibited the same behavior initially, but worked as expected after updating the code and saving them. This has been resolved by updating the buttons in pzBulkUpdate and pzAddBulkActions with the latest UI technologies used for button control codes.

ViewID parameter passed as part of DX API response payload for level 5 applications

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

Recent work to not consider production level and always pass 'viewID' parameter as part of DX API response payload was not working for cases where the APIProductionLevel was 5. This was a missed use case based on a condition that remained on the ViewID parameter, and the condition has now been removed.

INC-144358 · Issue 601012

Localization added for "Automatically" and "Manually" field values

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

The Dutch translation of "Child case [Case_type] [Case_id] has been [Instantiation_mode] instantiated" used the hard-coded English expression "manually". This has been resolved by adding the "Automatically" and "Manually" field values to localization.

Pega API system management launches correctly from Help

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

The Pega System Management API did not work when launched from help window, although other APIs such as Case Management were working fine. This has been resolved by updating the basePath in pzSystemManagementDocumentation.

Correct flow actions loaded in multi-thread portal refresh

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

The member authentication screen was displaying an incorrect flow action on doing browser refresh after creating a new interaction. Refresh is a special case where the parameter retention is different across single-threaded & multi-threaded portals alongside the execution order of activities. In this case, this inconsistency occurred in a multi-threaded portal when newAssignPage had the information to load the proper assignment but the parameter indicated an old index. This has been resolved by adding 'when' conditions to to populate and pass the correct references and labels and to honor the Param.TaskIndex set and sent by UI activities so it's retained in case of multi-thread portals.

Check and error message added for filename containing "%00"

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

At the time of file attachment or upload, if the file name contained % followed by two 0s (%00), the file upload mechanism distorted the UI and the Pega logo screen popped up. The file was saved properly in the ServiceExport directory, but while fetching the attachment info, the file was split in two because the engine considered %00 as a delimiter. This has been resolved by adding a file name check and a pyInvalidFileName field value to be used for an error message.

INC-146564 · Issue 607856

DX API returns application specific validation messages

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

When trying to validate the input swagger details with application specific conditions, the create case DX API did not return the validation messages from application but instead returned a "500 Internal Server Error". Investigation showed that the error parameter was not set on validation fail, and this has been corrected.
