INC-175630 · Issue 653864

Application selections only announced when visible

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.1

The elements of the application switcher were being announced by the NVDA screen reader even when toggled off, i.e. not visible. The issue was occurring because the focus was remaining at the search bar even after closing the app switcher window, and has been resolved by adding the necessary logic to switch the focus.

Corrected error when persisting temporary work object

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.4

When persisting a temporary work object using the Persist case shape, the internal assignment handle was not updated to include the work object's ID. Subsequent attempts to access the internal assignment (such as the "Edit" button on the Review Harness) resulted in errors. Investigation showed that when a temporary case was persisted, pyInternalAssignmentHandle was not getting recalculated after pzInsKey was updated. To resolve this, the configuration on the edit button has been modified to use .pxFlow(pzInternalCaseFlow).pxAssignmentKey which is what pyInternalAssignmentHandle declare expression was also returning.

Check added for parent case dependency if deferred-save is used

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.4

After updating the status of a parent case to "Pending-ChildCaseDependency", the wait shape for the child case that should have been triggered by the status did not work and the child case remained on hold. This was a missed use case for the pxCheckFlowDependencies activity where defer-save operations on Index-AssignDeps class was not considered, and may happen when the Queue Processor is evaluating the dependencies while instances to Index-AssignDeps are not committed yet. To resolve this, code has been added to check the entry of the parent case dependency in deferred-save if its not present in Index-AssignmentDeps table.

SR-D32525 · Issue 505467

Dirty check added to offer save/discard changes when closing tab

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.4

With the OOTB section enabled, performing a change in the form (changing a text value, selecting a option in a dropdown, etc.) and closing the case generated an unexpected alert indicating that the case was changed and the modifications were lost. This differs from the previous behavior of showing the section pyDirtyCheckConfirm which offered the opportunity to save the work. This was a missed use case and has been resolved by updating the system to perform a check for the dirty state when closing the interaction and show a modal dialog asking the user to choose either save/discard if dirty.

Logic updated for DX API retrieving View/Action ID using embedded property

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.1

While calling the DX API using Assignment ID and action ID, a 500 error response was logged indicating that the server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request. Investigation traced this to the logic used for resolving an embedded property referenced in a control/field to identify the correct page class. In a non-work object context for flow actions the new assign page doesn't exist, but the system was checking for it and clearing off errors from the named page. This has been corrected.

Public URL will be appended with "/" if it is not present

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.4

When using the Worklink Correspondence Fragment rule with authentication service type "prweb/PRAuth/sso", the returned URL did not contain the needed "/" at the end of public link. The "/" was present when using the legacy authentication service "prweb/sso". This has been resolved by updating the system to include a "/" at the end of a public URL if one is not present.

INC-184040 · Issue 688255

Improved accessibility for Disclosable Documents/attach files/auto selection dropdowns

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.4

When using Dragon for accessibility, issues were seen when trying to select different options in the dropdowns related to attaching multiple files. This was caused by the legacy grids being used not supporting this type of accessibility functionality, and has been resolved by updating pzAttachFileDDFileList to use an optimized table instead.

INC-170514 · Issue 653763

Lock conflict resolved for AssignmentCheck

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.1

The error "Unable to unlock this work object" sporadically appeared in both the runtime log and Pega RULES log when the robot was trying to create a case in Pega using an API call. Investigation showed that as the case was created, it was pulled by another robot (another requestor) which was using the GetAssignments API. This caused the perform assignment check to fail. To resolve this, a 'when' rule has been added to the performAssignmentCheck Activity.
