SR-127035 · Issue 193206

Improved opening custom flow rules with Microsoft Internet Explorer 9

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

Opening up a flow rule with many sub-process references was taking an excessive amount of time when using Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 due to general browser slowness and the system loading all referenced flow rules at that time. This has been resolved by tuning the JavaScript code to improve the performance of the viewer and to disable drilldown functionality from the server.

Updated SimpleDateFormat to remove lenient parsing mode

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

When using File Dataset to ingest CSV files with the required Date format set as yyyyMMdd, an error was thrown if the date value provided in a file was in the format '14/04/1971', but a date format such as 14-04-1971 did not produce an error but instead was mapped to a Date value of 00131204. . This has been resolved by disabling the lenient mode of parsing in SimpleDateFormat.

Alternative pyLabel source for Auto-generated Proposition Filter added as fall back

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

After using save-as to move an offer/action rule containing eligibility criteria into a new ruleset /branch, the criteria disappeared. Proposition Filter has an explicit dependency on relevant records, and in this scenario investigation revealed all of the relevant records had been previously deliberately deleted. Using save-as on auto-generated CDH rules like actions is also not a best practice. To better handle unexpected actions like these and avoid the hard dependency on Relevant Records, when creating the Proposition Filter via the programatic API the system will fall back to reading the label from the sourcePage if is not possible to get the label from Relevant Record.

Prediction outcome response timing updated

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

Predictions using a response timeout were not emitting a negative response ('NoResponse') when the specified waiting time expired. This was traced to the the outcome and response timeout values being overridden while triggering responses for multi stage predictions along with chained predictions. This has been resolved by modifying the flow to emit each outcome as it is received and by adding the dataflow trigger in the function so that it does not override the values in case of chained predictions.

Flow Image available in "WhereAmI" option of iframe

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2

In some cases, it was not possible to see a flow canvas when the request was made from external system (e.g.. calling Pega URL from iframe). The framework was not taking into account the case where the frame was embedded in a document from a different domain. The cause of this issue is that the iframe and the parent frame have different origins, which prevents Viewer Data registering correctly. The system has been updated to detect whether the parent frame has the same origin as iframe, then choose correct the parent context to register Viewer Data. The object used to contain viewer data should be created in the right context in order to avoid cross origin exceptions.

Updated entity attachment extraction tokenizers

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

After creating an entity extraction model, it was seen that one of the entities worked when there was a space after the semicolon but the detection was not working if there was no space. This has been resolved by updating the Tokenizers with extra examples to address tokenization when ":" is present between two words without any spaces.

SR-A6547 · Issue 217014

Updated handling for empty keys in DataSet-Execute

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2

When executing a 'delete by keys' operation in a DataSet-Execute method, passing empty keys would intermittently cause the whole dataset to be truncated or deleted. To create a more robust execution environment, when a Dataset-Execute is called and no key is passed it will trigger a delete statement matching the key value to null.

ADM performance improvements and duplicate inputs corrected for delayed learning records

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

Additional work has been done to improve the performance for Adaptive Models used in multi-level decisioning, and an issue with duplicate pxCommonInputs has been resolved.

INC-193986 · Issue 680032

Parameter logic updated for metrics activity counter

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

An error was causing the PushCDHMetrics agent to fail. This was traced to an undefined parameter in the activity which was used as a counter, and has been resolved by replacing it with a local variable of type integer.
