Create Survey routes case correctly

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

The Create Survey utility was not routing the case to the user who initiated the case, but instead was routing it to the user who checked-in the case. This was traced to an error related to pxRequestor.pxUserIdentifier in the data transform pzpopulate survey params which is called when the survey utility is used, and has been corrected.

SQL query handling updated for mobile

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

When the check box in mobile channel "Disclose application size when users log in for the first time" was enabled it produced the error "There was a problem getting a list: SQLState: Message: ERROR: relation "pr_data_full_sync_stats" does not exist". Investigation showed that all SQL queries passed to getDb().executeRDB(...) method were using the SQL table directly, ignoring any customizations to table mapping or database prefixes. This has been resolved by replacing the table name with a class reference ("Class: Pega-OfflineFullSyncSizeStatistics") so that table mapping can replace the reference with a proper table name and proper database prefix.

Handling added to process Actions chunks on multiple nodes

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

If the synching of chunks to a node was interrupted, attempting to resume the remaining chunks resulted in a processing issue if the Load Balancer passed the connection to a different node than was used for the first connection. As an example, if chunks were synched to node "A" and the restarted sync saved the remaining chunks to node "B", when all chunks were synced node "B" incorrectly determined node "A" was actually doing the work and skipped the processing of the chunks on node "B". This resulted in queued chunks being left untouched. To resolve this, the logic has been updated to allow multiple nodes to process the chunks.

Resolved Clear Cache error for mobile client

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.9

When attempting to clear local storage while logged into the Mobile Client, the error message "You need to be able to connect to the server in order to clear the storage" appeared. This was traced to the application being configured to disable a user's web session immediately after log in, and was due to the "Clear Cache" functionality failing while attempting an AJAX request to invoke the server's "pzAmIOnline" activity. While there was a workaround of using the check box "Access group requires a connection for portions of the application", this has been resolved by updating the Settings - Clear Cache functionality in order be able to detect if it's online in a different way.

Signature support added for external repositories

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

On Accepting the signature for a repository, saving the case cleared the signature from the control, even though the signature was saved into the data repository. This was a missed use case, and support for signature has been added to external repository use.

Updates made for reviewing online case in an offline app

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

After developing a Field Service Mobile app on Pega 8.3, updating and assessing the Mobile App on Pega 8.6 resulted in a flicker in the back arrow for returning to the work list. This was traced to WebViewManager not being available for online cases in offline apps, and has been resolved by adding an update that will use attachOnload/detachOnload if WebViewManager is not available. In addition, an issue with creating a space or document on mobile has been corrected by using the onViewRendered method instead of attachOnload for the offline app case.

Custom question parameters visible in survey

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

When opening an individual question in the custom question section of a survey, the parameters passed were visible in the Answer tab but not when clicking on the getParams link in the right-side panel. This has been resolved by updating the pzSetRuleAndPropValuesForQuestion activity to copy section params from the question rule and call GetSectionParamsToPrompt to get latest parameters data.

iOS file attachment works in Safari

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.9

Attaching PDF and images from iOS devices using Safari was not working. This was traced to iOS 13 launching the file browser by default if the file-input element had an accept=/ attribute value pair, and has been resolved.

Handling added for overriding questions rules

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

After overriding questions rules and then upgrading/validating Question Groups, questions were not shown. It was necessary to manually edit, save, and refresh for the questions to appear, affecting mainly Rule-PegaQ-QuestionGroup rules. This was traced to missing handling for this usecase. The commit was added in Revalidate and Save, which was committing different data because the upgraded data was not copied back to step page being used. Due to this, the commit in BulkValidateSave was overriding the changes done in the pzUpgradeSurveyInstance activity, and the survey upgrade was failing. To support this use, Page-Copy has been added to pzUpgradeSurveyInstance after the pzSaveSurveyInstance call step to copy the updated data to the step page which will later be committed by BulkValidateSave during revalidate and save.
