Navigation icons added for use in offline mobile

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

When using an offline mobile app, clicking on an image / link on the home page for navigation resulted in the error “Resource missing. See client logs.” This was traced to a missed use case that resulted in some icons not being available in the package, and has been corrected by including the following: webwb/py-menu-toggle.png webwb/pzgrid_downarrow.png webwb/pymenuleftarrow.png webwb/pymenurightarrow.png webwb/pymodal_mask_img.png webwb/py-grid-sort-down.svg

Handling added for designtime page used in runtime

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

After creating a survey with branch Create survey cases routed to different actors, some cases missed the assignments and were left idle with no access to progress. Survey cases (with branches) having the 'when' conditions in flow connectors experienced this intermittently in production. This was traced to the use of D_pzSurveyPage data page called from the ProcessUpdate data transform while creating the survey: this data page is for design time and should not be used at runtime as it requires design time pages like CaseTypePage which will not be available at runtime. To resolve this issue for runtime, in Step 3 of pzGetAllConnectors, pyClassName will be copied from the step page and set for pzGetConnectorsForDecision.

Stale WorkSearchPreference data cleared when switching apps

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.1

The D_pyWorkSearchPreferences data page data was not refreshing while switching between apps, causing stale data to be populated under the case search dropdown for all the applications after switching the application from one to another. This has been resolved by removing the D_pyWorkSearchPreferences data page as part of pzProcessApplicationSwitch.

Handling added for disabling weekends when no weekends are available

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

A browser exception was generated while selecting the option “Disable weekends”. This was traced to a malformed array of weekends in a scenario where the Data-Admin-Calendar instance had all business days checked (i.e., no weekends). To resolve this, DatePickerAssembly and pzGenerateDatePicker have been updated to handle the case when there are no weekends available in the Data-Admin-Calendar instance.

Class structure tree correctly repaints when scrolling in Chrome

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2

When expanding the Class Tree Structure and then selecting a class relatively low down in the list, the screen was not repainted after scrolling back up when using the Chrome browser. It was possible to force a repaint of the tree structure by clicking on an item in it. This was traced to the app explorer tree-grid (cell) having section includes which used deprecated free-form layouts (which are table based). To resolve this issue, the app explorer leaf node has been converted to display in dynamic layout and app explorer child nodes will repaint even after expanding to a child level.

INC-137818 · Issue 594023

Corrected sorting icon accessibility when grid size is not fixed

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

After configuring a table and checking the boxes for Filtering and Sorting and unchecking the fixed (pixel) size grid box, tabbing in to the grid/table using the keyboard did not bring the focus to the sorting icon /header, but instead the focus went to the filter icon. If filter was unchecked and sorting was checked, the focus went to the first row of the table. This was traced to the column headers missing the tabindex attribute when the column headers were not fixed. When the column headers were fixed, tabindex =0 was present for the column header and the sort icon was accessible. This was traced to the Freeze Header value not being updated according to Fixed Size value because it was not a fixed size grid. To resolve this, an extra condition has been added in GenerateCellContent Rule-Utility-Function to be used while checking the Freeze Header.

SR-C81111 · Issue 417908

Performance improvements made for IG summary use

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2

Enabling IH summaries in an adaptive model or using them in a strategy was impacting performance by as much as 300 milliseconds. Improvements have now been made to streamline Cassandra node health checks, to eliminate unnecessary duplicate calls to the DB, and to stop the DSS from being read on each single case dataflow execution.

DataSet preview will use date instead of datetime

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.1

While using a DataSet preview functionality, the date appeared as reduced by one day. This has been resolved by parsing date as 'date' instead of 'datetime' to avoid issues with timezone interactions.

SR-D89428 · Issue 550393

Data Flow StartTime uses locale timezone

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.1

The start time of the dataflow was displayed in GMT instead of the operator locale timezone. This has been corrected.

Delete Requestor method updated for use with CMT

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.1

JMS MDB Listeners with Container Managed Transaction (CMT) enabled in Websphere 8.5 had global transactions fail. To initialize a JMS-MDB listener, a requestor of type APP is used. Upon the service being fully initialized, the requestor is removed by executing a delete operation followed by a COMMIT. However, in this scenario, the initialization operation is running within a CMT context and a SQLException was raised indicating that the commit was not allowed. To resolve this, the delete requestor method has been refactored to take into account the CMT context so the commit is not executed if the transaction is managed by the container.
