Added toggle to hold radio button value during multiple service case creation

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.5

When a field was implemented with a radio button control in the service case screen, starting two cases of the same or different case type (with the same property and control) resulted in the selected value not sticking in the first case when selections were made for the second case. This was traced to multiple radio buttons with the same name in the dom for different AJAX containers: as per radio buttons behavior, only one could be selected if they have the same name. To correct this issue, updates have been made to change the name on radio buttons which are inside the hidden AJAX container and toggle the changes when the buttons should be shown.

Human and robot assignments workflow access differentiated and separated

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.1

Previously, the "Access When" rule did not differentiate between human or robotic operator and each was able to work on assignments intended for the other. When a case was routed to a robotic work queue (and also when the robot VM had already picked up the work and was processing it), the assignment could still be picked up from the Review Harness and moved downstream by a human operator. To resolve this, the property pxAssigneeType has been created in AddAssign (Workbasket and Work List) to hold information about whether it is a human or robotic assignment, and canPerform(Work List & WorkBasket) has been modified to account for the operator type and assignment type. The error "You are not authorized to perform this assignment." will appear when an assignment routed to a robotic queue is accessed by a human. However, if the access group is administrator, the human operator can still progress the robotic assignment without any error.

Data join conditions representation updated to avoid overwrite

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.5

After upgrade, a Data join component on the Strategies was not working as expected, especially the ones using the DateTime function. If the data join conditions were swapped, i.e the DateTime function was not the last criteria, the strategy outputs were correct.Investigation showed that the implementation used a map to represent pairs of left and right expressions which caused conditions rows with the same leftExpr to end up overwriting one another. This has been corrected by fixing the representation of conditions of a Data Join to a list of tuples which eliminates the possibility of one condition overwriting a previous one.

Auto populate disabled during redux page conversion to prevent concurrent modification exception

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.5

Running a standalone data page sourced from a look up of a class was failing sporadically with a concurrent modification exception. The Data page was backed by redux pages: this meant that when the page fetched from data source was converted to redux page, it was iterating through all properties in the mContent of the page and trying to convert those to redux properties. During this process, when any auto populate property was encountered it was getting triggered and modifying the mContent, resulting in a change in iterator. As a result, when the Iterator was trying to fetch the next element, the concurrent modification exception was thrown. To resolve this issue, auto populate has been disabled during redux page conversion to avoid unnecessary problem during data page load.

OIDC and authorization_code flow corrected

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.1

The OIDC and authorization_code flow was not working work on the first attempt. This was traced to the server that was performing the OAuth 2.0 authorization_code redirecting straight to the Pega application after successful user authentication instead of returning an authorization code via redirect_uri. As a result, the Pega application was rendered in a external Safari window which is supposed to be used for user authentication only. Second and subsequent attempts to perform the OAuth 2.0 authorization_code flow were successful and the Mobile Client was logged in. This was caused by the unnecessary retainment of state parameters in the OIDC flow, and has been fixed by removing the code that appended the querystring parameters used for the Hybrid Client.

RRChartDiv tries resize three times before exiting to prevent high CPU usage

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.1

Very high CPU usage was reported when two or more tabs were open, even when there was not actual work being performed in the app. This was traced to a chart in Team Dashboard that was displayed with "No data to display"; because the toolbar height was always 0, the resize callback was going into an infinite loop. This has been fixed by modifying the logic in pzRRChartDiv to only try the resize three times to get the height of toolbar or slider before exiting.

Enhancement added to hold Change Tracker values until UI is loaded

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.5

Sporadically, an agent attempting to answer a queued call within 10 seconds received a loading screen. By the time the load completed, the next agent had already taken the call. This is a scenario where based on a change, the agent was trying to refresh something on the UI (a section or harness) which was not yet loaded/present on the UI. To address this use case, an enhancement has been added to hold the change tracked values and handle them once the UI is loaded. The new function pega.ui.ChangeTracker.prototype.handlePendingCTChanges in pzpega_ui_changetracker.js is used to handle the pending CT changes. A hook has been added in the pzpega_ui_doc_lifecycle js file to invoke the above function once the UI is loaded.

Custom filter values correctly pass to custom drilldown filters

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.1

Reports with summarize column, drilldown, and custom inline sections were not forwarding values from the custom filter to the drilldowns custom filter. This was a missed use case in earlier work done to ensure custom filter values are populated during runtime, and has been added.

Cookie logging restored

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.5

As part of security updates, Cookies were restricted from being logged. However, this caused some business use cases such as a custom function call to obtain the list of cookies that are present in the application to stop working. To resolve this, the cookie logging restriction has been reverted.
