Enhanced SSA metrics made available

In order to better diagnose delays related to the time when a Campaign is scheduled to start and the time when the Dataflow actually starts to run, an update has been made to introduce detailed metrics to cover some of the strategy execution key performance intensive areas including invocation of other non-strategy modules like adaptive model scoring and interaction history summaries. These Level 1 diagnostics are enabled by default. Additional lower level internal metrics related to SSA engine execution have also been made available by way of a DSS to collect more runtime insight for diagnosis. To enable the collection of these Level 2 SSA internal metrics, set the dataflow/shape/strategy/detailed_metrics/level2 DSS in the Pega-DecisionEngine rule set to 'true'.

Date/time filter works in source column
Resolved in Pega Version 8.7
The date/time filter was not working in the Source column for a report definition. This was traced to "pxCreateDateTime" resolving and storing the pyDataType in the report as "DATE TIME". While "DATE TIME" is an acceptable data type it was not supported by pzGridSortPaginate and thus the filter did not work. This was a missed use case, and has been resolved by updating pzGridSortPaginate to check the dataType as both "datetime" and "date time".

Cleaned up outdated prprivcommon class references

After update, an exception was generated related to FirstUseAssembler. This was a missed use case for the WriteEFormToFile activity from previous work which restricted loading classes from prprivcommon.jar, and has been resolved by removing references to the following classes which were made inaccessible by the changes to prprivcommon: com.pega.pegarules.storage.FileStorageManager com.pega.pegarules.storage.fs.resadaptor.RAFile com.pega.pegarules.storage.fs.resadaptor.OutputStreamWrapper

Support added for recording with sIngle-option radio button inside a repeating grid

Recording a test case was not working when a single option radio button (i.e., radio button control with property of type boolean) was configured inside a repeating grid. In this case, it was found that the Radio button markup did not have a data-test-id attribute for non-template single option; this has been added.

Added handling for silent save fail with invalid cache
Resolved in Pega Version 8.7
When Commit threw an exception, the Save button from rule form did not catch it and returned no errors even though the save failed. Investigation found this could occur on systems with invalid caches, and a try-catch has been added to handle an exception occurring in a Java step that should not stop future processing.

DSS added to control validation of hidden fields

When required fields are in hidden format, a client side validation error may be thrown on submit. To address this, a DSS has been added to control whether or not hidden fields are validated. By default "validateHiddenField" will be true and the fields will be validated; changing this to false will skip the validation of hidden fields.

Updated aria handling for Dynamic Layout Group 'Accordion'

The Dynamic Layout Group display type 'Accordion' was not getting initialized properly on the browser developer inspector. This was traced to the aria-selected attribute set to always be true, and has been resolved by adding logic to set and unset aria- selected only on the active tab. When the tab is not active, then aria-selected will be false.

Case Dependency corrected for different access groups

Creating a queue item as part of the case dependency was not working as expected when the access groups of the dependent cases were different. Investigation showed that in this scenario, the logic was looping differently and the DependencyList page in pxCheckFlowDependencies was getting removed. To resolve this, the DependencyList page has been moved so it is processed inside the DependencyList.pxResults loop.

Correct Email Bot training text highlighted

When a piece of text was selected and tagged against an entity while training the Email Bot, the entity selection was misplaced and partially covered the actual text selected. The incorrect selection was then carried forward to the training data spreadsheet. To resolve this, rule changes have been made that will update HTML entities to HTML encoded forms.
