Currency Code updates
Resolved in Pega Version 8.8
A Section configured with an editable currency input using auto-formatting failed to render at runtime if configured using Type -> Number, Symbol -> Currency, Other currency, and Currency -> "USD". The error "Invalid Locale : USD" was logged. This was an unintended side effect of work done to configure currency codes for the Number control, and has been resolved by accounting for the locale settings and handling the condition for the error "Invalid local-USD" so that the the UI rendering appears as expected. In addition, when the Currency control was configured with editable mode "Editable" and "Display value using read-only formatting" checked, read-only formatting generation did not happen for the control. Entering a value and tabbing out caused the ReloadCell activity to return empty content, which resulted in the server returning full HTML markup with a message "Operation Successful". Because the ReloadCell activity handler expected only control markup with formatted value to be returned, the HTML markup containing inline CSS styles in it appeared in the Currency input field on tab out. There was a workaround of unchecking "Display value using read-only formatting" on the control's presentation tab, but this has been resolved by using Post value infrastructure to get the formatted value from the server.

Handling updated for social messaging items with very large embedded images
Resolved in Pega Version 8.8
Job scheduler was running out of memory while handling large/multiple files, causing nodes to crash while handling Social Messaging items. Inline images were also not being sent in the ACK email. Investigation traced this to a custom job scheduler and activity used to create PDFs from email communication and send the PDFs to a third-party system. This used the standard Email Triage/PegaSocial functionality for the emails, which were stored as instances of PegaSocial-Message. The custom Job scheduler and activity then leveraged the Data Page D_pxEmailPosts to retrieve the emails in order to harvest the text from the emails. The issue occurred when a number of the emails had multiple or large embedded images in them, meaning the PegaSocial-Message instances are very large. This resulted in the node running out of memory and crashing. To resolve this, code has been added to support inline images in ACK email and the complete message from Pulse will be used instead of the original message as the email body for the ACK email.

JAWS reads the tab name and the close icon details seperately
Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.4
By default, all currently opened Work Objects Close icons have the label "Close Tab", but when moving across tabs while using the JAWS screen reader, reaching a work object tab caused JAWS to read the entire tab header as "S-123 close tab". In order to improve accessibility, aria-labels will be added while setting label to the tab so the header and close icon will be read separately.

GetAllEmailWork temp page renamed to avoid conflict
Resolved in Pega Version 8.8
The default Email manager portal was not displaying new email triage cases. Investigation showed that because the GetAllEmailWork and CaseBreadCrumbPopulate activities were using a common name for the clipboard page "TempPage", when CaseBreadCrumbPopulate removed the TempPage clipboard page as one of its steps a null pointer exception occurred for GetAllEmailWork. To resolve this, an update has been made to rename "TempPage" to "TempPageET" for GetAllEmailWork so the names will not conflict.

Attach Documents Control updated for busy indicator timing
Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.4
When using the standard control - Attach content - to attach documents for processing in the application, selecting multiple files for upload and then clicking on the attach button before the busy indicator started resulted in not all files being uploaded. Investigation showed that the busy indicator was not set to display as soon as the attachments were added, giving an opportunity to click "Attach" before all the documents could be successfully added to the process. As part of the resolution for this issue, the busy indicator will be displayed immediately upon file selection.

Updated JSON DT nested page property handling
Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.4
In a JSON data transform, when using an "Update page" step on a single-page property, as a child step of an "Append and map to" step where a pagelist property is given, the pagelist was populated with only one result but the single-page property was treated like a pagelist and received multiple results. This has been resolved by updating the ClipboardJSONDeserializer implementation and downstream abstractions to support "clipboard only" relations as properties in nested PageLists.

AdminUser login corrected for WebLogic
Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.3
After a successful deployment of Pega on WebLogic 12c Application Server, the server started up without problem and the login page appeared as expected. When attempting to login to the application using the administrator account, the login failed and displayed the error "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Header:Location Cannot contain CRLF Charcter" in the browser. This as traced to the URL not being generated correctly due to the padding in the encoding rejecting any CRLF character in the URL, and has been corrected.

File listener error recovery resumes from failure point
Resolved in Pega Version 8.8
When file listeners were unable to parse a file due to exception, the automatic error recovery did not start parsing from the correct location. Investigation showed the segment was not tracked during file listener run, so during error recovery the file listener always started processing from the first segment instead of the segment from which it failed. This was a missed use case and has been resolved by tracking the active segment and utilizing it during the error recovery run of the file listener.

Autocomplete/autopopulate in table works properly with keyboard
Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.4
When two autocompletes in a table (two separate columns) were sourced by different properties within the same data-page, clicking to select a “reason-code” in the first autocomplete column correctly populated the corresponding “reason description” in the second column autocomplete. However, when using configured keyboard presses on the auto complete with post value and data transform actions (enter-key, tab-key, and on change), selecting from the auto-complete list and pressing enter or tab to select the item populated the second column as expected but the first column auto-complete showed the selected code for a moment and then was cleared. This as traced to the associated property set value executing after all associated properties setvalue actions were completed, and has been resolved.
