SR-D97193 · Issue 556552

DataView rules and library files removed

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.2

After upgrade, the pzPresentationFUA library was failing while compiling with errors relating to references for com.pega.pegarules.priv.desktop.reporting.dataview not being resolved. This was due to an incomplete cleanup when data views were removed from use, and the library and rules have now been removed.

Enhanced handling for screen/non-screen/screen flow movement

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.4

When using a screen flow where the last screen had a link to launch a section, a cancel button in the section that was configured with a data transform and a 'Finish Assignment' intended to move back to the screen flow did not work as expected. If a browser refresh was performed and then the cancel button was clicked, the Finish Assignment / return was triggered as expected. Because this configuration navigated to a non-screen flow, the attachOnLoad function did not load the parameter needed for maintaining error messages. This has been resolved by updating the navigation to handle this use.

CMIS Timestamp function updated to support more timezones

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3

When trying to edit any attachment , a null pointer exception was generated from the out of the box activity pygetobjectfromAPPCMISConnector by the pzFormatCMISTimestamp function in the class PRDateFormat.java. This was traced to CMIS using a library that did not support all the possible timezones for a timestamp. To resolve this, the RUF pzFormatCMISTimestamp has been updated to use java.text.SimpleDateFormat as it currently supports the highest number of timezones and permutations in the CMIS timestamp format. A check has also been added so that if a timezone cannot be found, the date is simply not converted and a warning is logged.

Rule lock is released after alternate approved operator rejects it

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3

When using the rule check-in approval process, if a rule check-in candidate was rejected by an approved operator other than the one who checked it in, the lock on the original rule was not released. This has been corrected so the lock is released after the rule is rejected in the case worker portal.

Kafka Disk Space auto cleanup improvements

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.2

High disk space consumption was seen when using a custom QueueProcessor and standard retention policies. To resolve this, an enhancement has been added which will allow consumed QueueProcessor messages to be removed from the stream as soon as they are processed to avoid out of space issues. This will ignore partitions with undefined positions.

Explicit parent added for descendants in subreport to correct summary

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.2

When using a Report Definition with a Summarize column and a subreport with join class, it was not considering implementation class work objects. As a result, the prepared values were only partially computed. This was traced to the SubReport in SetQuery not having reference to a parent for the descendants classes, and has been resolved by explicitly setting the parent value.

Column filtering corrected for Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 AJAX containers

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.2

Column Filtering was failing when used in tables inside an AJAX container in Microsoft Internet Explorer 11. This was due to the filter popover close method changing the visibility of the popover and triggering a context switch, and has been resolved by setting the flag pega.ctxmgr.skipContextSwitching to true before changing the visibility.

Removed unnecessary decoding from GetDropdownOptions

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.4

When using a dropdown sourced by a data page with parameters in the section, passing multiple values as the parameters of the data page resulted in the error "pzGetDropdownOptions:Invalid JSON Stream for data page params" and the parameter values were not resolving at runtime. This was traced to unnecessary decoding in the process, and has been resolved.
