Case urgency value will not be reset when processing wait shapes

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.1

When a Wait shape was configured with the ‘Users can choose to continue process’ option unchecked, the overall work object SLA urgency was overwritten to 0 when the SLA processed the Wait shape. This was due to the Wait shape using pzWaitTImer, which has all urgency values as 0. The SLA being set to 0 did not occur if ‘Users can choose to continue process’ was checked on the Wait shape because pxSystemFlow was not set to true in that case. To prevent the SLA override, a check has been added that will skip setting the urgency setting if there is a wait shape.

Connection Manager uses keyring for null prconfig password

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.1

After upgrade, credentials from BIX keyring were failing when using BIX via commandline rather than prconfig. This was traced to a behavior change in the Connection Manager, and has been resolved by modifying the Connection Manager to look up the password from the keyring when given a URL configuration where the password is null in prconfig (URL connection only).

Updated report handling for simulations using database output

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3

When running a simulation with a database table as the output destination, the pxObjClass property was not populating with a value in the results. This caused sub-reports to not be populated with data. Investigation showed that issue happened when the simulation output destination database table was inferred as an external table due to not having an exposed column for pzinskey. To resolve this, the pxObjClass and pxCreateDateTime properties, which were added to simulation output destination tables for compatibility with Report browser, will not be added to those tables when they are created. Instead, to address compatibility issues of simulation output destination classes with Report browse in the Customer Decision Hub, the pyDefaultSummaryReport has been brought up into the Data-Decision-StrategyExecution-ResultOutput class from the @baseclass.

Updated calling activities from refresh to use invokeActivity

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7.1

The Refresh DX API was inconsistently throwing an index out of bound exception when using a checkbox which invokeed an activity on check to save and commit the case. This has been addressed by updating calling activities from refresh to use invokeActivity, and a try/catch has been added to capture exceptions and add a page message if the activity is not found or has an error.

Child case has correct context when created from smart shape

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3

The Cosmos Summary Panel was not always updating as expected when a child case was created via a smart shape in the current case flow; the new case opened, but the summary panel still showed the details of the previous case. This occurred when using a create case smart shape in a flow where the case is assigned to the current user, and was due to the child case assignment being opened inside the parent context. This has been resolved by ensuring the child case is opened in the correct context.

Data-Summary reports default will not use the rule resolved setting

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

An intermittent issue was seen where a query could become stuck for ~2 hours in the database. This has been resolved by setting the default for Data-Summary reports to not use the rule resolved setting.

Enhancements added for very heavy use of strategy decision logic

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

Recent updates were made to improve memory performance for scenarios where a single request primary page had tens of thousands of pages under an embedded pagelist property and the decision logic involved a strategy running on all the pages in that page list. To further improve performance, the array iterator has been modified and a DSS has been added that makes the threshold (50) in SSAExecutionContextIteratorFactory tunable.

Harness used to determine read-only for button/text input

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3

If a button/text input was configured to always be editable in a section by using the /v1/cases/{ID}/pages/{pageID} API (say i.e PageID as Review), the button/text input was always returned as readonly. This was due to the API being hardcoded to return readonly info, and has been resolved by updating pzGetPageDetails to not force read-only and let the harness configuration decide the behavior.

RecordsEditor Section- Parameters for HideDelete and HideAdd held on clipboard for use

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.1

On initial load of a RecordsEditor section, the delete and add options were properly hidden from the user. After using any sort option on any column, the parameters were not persisted and the delete and add icons became visible. To resolve this, the implementation has been updated so that the pyHideDelete and pyHideAdd parameters will be read from myParamPage on the initial load and saved on a clipboard page for use.

SR-C86133 · Issue 426386

Logic updated to resolve Strategy Parser error using dateTimeToBigDecimal

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.1

After upgrade, a Strategy run was failing with a SemanticAnalysisException error indicating "Type Mismatch in node 'ILTernaryOperation': False branch does not equal return type (DECIMAL ==> DATETIME)". Upon investigation, the issue was traced to a property set component with an expression using the "DateTime•dateTimeToBigDecimal Pega-RULES:08-01-01" function. To resolve this, the logic has been modified to set the return type of ternary node from the Java type, and to check that True and False branches match this return type as well.
