Updated replica management for search clusters

When using a cluster with two Universal nodes in the cluster, a daily restart process where the second node was not started until the first was fully up resulted in Search initialization failing for the first node while becoming active on the second node. This was traced to the methods used in increasing and decreasing replicas. This has been resolved by revising the handling of ElasticSearch node lifecycle and replicas through a new option "Dindex.searchNodeCount " which includes a specification for the number of expected search nodes. If this option is not present, the old method will be used.

DSS added to control whether empty captions are skipped for display

When the property used a prompt list table type and a prompt value for one of the fields was empty, it is not being shown in drop-down. This caused unexpected default values to appear in drop-down lists. To resolve this, a DSS has been added which may be used to skip empty values. The default behavior of skipEmptyCaption is false to show all values as-is.

Check added to ensure client side validation checkbox is honored in Case Worker portal

When the "Enable client side validation" checkbox on the Perform harness was unchecked, the validation was still firing when using a tab out on the Case Worker portal. The validation did not fire on tab out in the Case Manager portal, and both portals worked as expected on Submit. This was traced to the validation being fired without checking the value of the bClientValidation property. To resolve this, a check has been added to ensure the validation is fired only when it is set to true.

Added check for empty class properties to report scheduler
Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.6
A report that was looking for events in the most recent X hours by using the "Difference In Hours" filter function ran in the foreground but failed with an exception when running under the scheduler. The same report ran as expected in background without the filter. This was traced to a classname property not being set on the clipboard, and has been resolved by adding a check for empty classes on the clipboard when scheduling a report.

Handling updated for migrated cases

When performing a contact search in an interaction case that was migrated from an earlier version, clicking the Add Task button generated an exception when executing pzSendFeedbackToNLP(step 9) > pzFindTopicModel. This was traced to an unnecessarily call to pzMigrateInteractionCases each time a migrated case was opened, and has been resolved by updating the system to use JumpToLaterStep in Step1 of pzCheckAndMigrateInteractionCases to avoid calling MigrateCase again.

Timeout added for Cassandra writes

When using Customer Decision Hub with external C* deployment, attempting to stop a data flow run which was reporting stale threads for some partitions resulted in some of the partitions continuing to run while threads were waiting on the Cassandra save operation. This has been resolved by adding configuration for a timeout when waiting for the results of the save operation, with a default of 300 seconds.

Loop handling updated for Decision Table OR conditions

The system was crashing when saving or checking in a decision table with 21 columns and 20 rows where each cell contained 1, 2, or 3 OR conditions. Investigation showed this was caused by an indefinite number of loops when 'or' conditions were used in the test consistency activity, and this has been resolved with an update which ensures only the specified number of loops are performed.

Corrected locking issue in repeating grid for local action

When a grid was configured as readonly and the button in the grid had an open local action which opened up a section via flow action which was editable, on cancel, the grid context was treated as readOnly and was not releasing the lock. To resolve this, the pega.ctx.activeGrid.isOpenLocalAction flag has been added to releaseWOLock when a modal is launched from the grid using openLocalAction.
