INC-185760 · Issue 668742

SQL queries modified to use qualified table references

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

Portal launch in the development environment was taking an excessive amount of time, as were some standard reports. The PurgeAssemplyDatabaseCache agent activity also generated an error regarding "(internal.cache.RAPurge) ERROR - Purge, unexpected error in removeOldAppCentricCacheData". These issues were traced to SQL queries that contained pr_sys_app_hierarchy_flat without a schema qualifier, and have been resolved by changing to class qualified table references.

Special characters escaped for use in "is in List" lookups

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

After creating a specific criterion on any proposition using a string property, the "Is In List" operator, and a customer list with one value containing a "$", clicking save or check in resulted in the exception error "Problem invoking function: pega_decisionengine_propositionfilterfua.pzPropositionFilterMethodBody--(PublicAPI,ClipboardPage) java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal group reference at java.util.regex.Matcher.appendReplacement(Matcher.java:857) ". This has been resolved by escaping regular expression control characters in string replacement, which will allow the use of characters such as the $ sign for "is in List" lookups.

Help information updated for using Elastic Search with Report Definition

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

The support article "Configuring a report definition to run against an Elasticsearch index" has been updated to clarify that the search can pass multiple values with a space in pySearchString as it does OR operation on all the fields, and that filters in the report definition will be used when executing the report directly or when calling the report in the pxRetrieveSearchData activity. https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/system-administration/85/configuring-report-definition-run-against-elasticsearch-index

Check added for parent case dependency if deferred-save is used

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.4

After updating the status of a parent case to "Pending-ChildCaseDependency", the wait shape for the child case that should have been triggered by the status did not work and the child case remained on hold. This was a missed use case for the pxCheckFlowDependencies activity where defer-save operations on Index-AssignDeps class was not considered, and may happen when the Queue Processor is evaluating the dependencies while instances to Index-AssignDeps are not committed yet. To resolve this, code has been added to check the entry of the parent case dependency in deferred-save if its not present in Index-AssignmentDeps table.

Null check added to handle portal refresh when first launched

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.3

After configuring a button / dropdown in caseworker portal header with 'Refresh current action' onclick or onchange action, an exception appeared if the refresh harness was triggered and the Refresh did not happen. This was traced to the refresh harness happening after portal launch and before any DC action occurred. The portal 'history.state' is null at launch, meaning there was nothing to refresh. To handle this corner case, a null check has been added for the history state to avoid console errors.

SR-D20150 · Issue 491081

Added when check for Strategy and Event Strategy to preserve pagelist property

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.3

When editing a test case that has been built from a strategy, clicking on the 'add properties' link in the side panel was not working. This was traced to the strategy rule being loaded each time while the data page is only loaded once per session, and has been resolved by adding a 'when' condition to the Strategy and Event Strategy rule that will check for the existence of an embedded page before the pagelist property which displays results is removed.

INC-176757 · Issue 657785

Interaction History properly saved when running strategy on a different data flow

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

Customized Interaction History properties that had been added to pyInteractionHistoryConfiguration and pyDefaultWorkingSet and saved into the PR_DATA_IH_FACT table were not being saved properly after upgrading from 7.3 to 8.3. This was a missed use case and has been resolved.

SR-D17825 · Issue 494701

PreSaveAs updated to set the correct ruleset value when saved into a different ruleset

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.3

When using a BIX Extract rule already configured with properties and filter criteria, attempting to update the filter criteria system resulted in an "invalid property error" and inability to save the updated rule. This was traced to the extract rule being created from another extract rule with 'save as', resulting in the new extract existing in a different ruleset. Because the pxBixReportPage.pyRuleset had the value of the original ruleset instead of rule set in which it had been saved, the system was attempting to find the filter properties in the original ruleset. To resolve this, the Presaveas activity in rule-admin-extract has been modified to check and set the correct value when both the rulesets are not equal.

SR-D15844 · Issue 496776

Flag set for using defer load context switching with IE

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.3

Defer load section was not working as expected due to IE11 not maintaining the context of the section during busyIndicator hide. To avoid this, a flag 'pega.ctxmgr.skipContextSwitching' will be set during the hide of busy indicator if IE is used, and the harness switching context will then be decided based on this flag.

SR-D30505 · Issue 501895

Revalidate and save works for Service Packages using OAuth2.0

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.3

Revalidate and Save was failing for service packages of type Data-Admin-ServicePackage which used authentication type as OAuth2.0 . If this was modified to basic authentication / unchecking authentication, revalidate and save was successful. Historically, the implementation of pzOnlyRestServiceType always assumed the primary page was the Service Package rule itself. To support this alternate use, the logic has been updated and a check of the Service Type has been added for the pxResults of the data page.
