Locking settings enabled for circumstanced case types
Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.1
Optimistic locking options were not present for a circumstanced case type, and the option to select the "Lock parent case when an action is performed on this case" check box was not available. However, when the parent case type was enabled with optimistic locking, a circumstanced child case could inherit a lock from its parent. Because "Lock parent case when an action is performed on this case" was not enabled on the circumstanced child case type, trying to update the parent case from the child case and save the parent case resulted in a "Lock not held on parent" error. This was a missed use case, and has been resolved by enabling locking settings in Case Designer for circumstanced case types.

Repository document deletion modified for better cleanup
Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.4
When using documents functionality, creating and uploading a document properly stored it, but deleting the document did not remove the associated files from storage. Whenever a document is created that has a file, instances Of Link-Attachment and Data-WorkAttach-File are also created. Previously, when the document was deleted, the associated instances and actual file were not deleted from the repositories but rather marked as Resolved-Withdrawn and hidden at the UI level. The system has now been updated so that when a document is deleted, the document attachment will also be deleted from all places like list, Tile, and document View, and reference instances like Link-Attachment and Data-WorkAttach-File instance will also be removed along with the actual file from the repository.

Removed unneeded query parameter in UI
Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.1
When using an Ajax container without a dynamic container, a refresh harness / section event call related to pyBlockUnregisteredRequests was not being properly registered, resulting in a 403 error and the message "Unregistered request encountered ..". This was traced to a "pyDataTransform=" query parameter that was present in the PZPEGA_UI_MICRODC file, and the parameter has been removed to resolve this issue.

Support added for multiselect control with SmartTip for iPad
Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.8
When using a multiselect list control to a lproperty with Smart Tip configured, choosing one item on an iPad and then trying to tap or drag down the vertical scrollbar caused all listed items to disappear. To resolve this, the multiselect control has been updated to handle the popover exit on smart popover hover along with arrow key navigation support for tablets.

JobScheduler DST handling updated
Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.8
When the locale being used changed out of Daylight Savings Time, scheduled jobs did run at the same local time as before but instead ran an hour earlier than expected. Investigation showed that jobscheduler calculated the next runtime based on the time difference from the cluster reference time and current time in milliseconds, and this offset in milliseconds was added to next run time. Since the cluster was started in DST, the job was running on same time due to the time difference. To resolve this, the system will use a calculation offset and set hours/minutes to nextRunTime object so that calendar lib handles daylight savings.

Corrected error message display in right-to-left locales
Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.1
When using the standard report definition view in the Arabic (ar_AR) locale, error messages for a filter condition were displayed with an incorrect extended horizontal scroll bar with white space. This was traced to the legacy popover styling causing an issue with locales that display text from right to left, and has been resolved by setting the default overlay left to 0PX for these locales.

Alternative pyLabel source for Auto-generated Proposition Filter added as fall back
Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.1
After using save-as to move an offer/action rule containing eligibility criteria into a new ruleset /branch, the criteria disappeared. Proposition Filter has an explicit dependency on relevant records, and in this scenario investigation revealed all of the relevant records had been previously deliberately deleted. Using save-as on auto-generated CDH rules like actions is also not a best practice. To better handle unexpected actions like these and avoid the hard dependency on Relevant Records, when creating the Proposition Filter via the programatic API the system will fall back to reading the label from the sourcePage if is not possible to get the label from Relevant Record.

Resolved system hang after changing input field value post note
Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.8
After upgrade, a session was hanging in a Non-Member Search Phone interaction after navigating back from "Add or edit attachments" window. The same code worked as expected in the Member Search Phone interaction. Investigation showed that changed values (transaction ID, pzFromFrame) were being sent to the client twice, once in the popup window after attaching the note and again to the parent window. When the changed values were consumed and used in next actions, a mismatch resulted in pzFromFrame. To resolve this, the system has been updated so the Client will not consume the pxThread.pxClientExchange value if pxThread.pxClientFrame is different from what the current tracker is using.

Support added for dynamic CSS class reference in optimized grid
Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.8
When using the property pyStatusWork in an optimized grid, it was not possible to set a color code for different work statuses. This worked on an unoptimized grid. This has been resolved with the introduction of a dynamic CSS feature. This control can be changed to an autogenerated control like "Formatted text" and apply color coding through classes. To use this, a property value must be specified in cell classes in the presentation tab of the table cell, and then populate each result of a data page with that property which contains some class value appropriate for status value. CSS must be written for the different classes (class name is stamped on <td> in markup).
