Modified batch requestor handling to ensure cleanup

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.4

A large buildup of batch requestors was seen, and restarting the node did not clear it. Investigation showed that in the case of one class reading a DSS value, a Pega requestor was being created when it was unable to retrieve any Pega context, and this requestor was not cleaned up afterwards. To resolve this, an update has been made to the way the requestor and Pega context is being created along with ensuring it will be cleaned up properly after use.

Currency Code updates

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.4

A Section configured with an editable currency input using auto-formatting failed to render at runtime if configured using Type -> Number, Symbol -> Currency, Other currency, and Currency -> "USD". The error "Invalid Locale : USD" was logged. This was an unintended side effect of work done to configure currency codes for the Number control, and has been resolved by accounting for the locale settings and handling the condition for the error "Invalid local-USD" so that the the UI rendering appears as expected. In addition, when the Currency control was configured with editable mode "Editable" and "Display value using read-only formatting" checked, read-only formatting generation did not happen for the control. Entering a value and tabbing out caused the ReloadCell activity to return empty content, which resulted in the server returning full HTML markup with a message "Operation Successful". Because the ReloadCell activity handler expected only control markup with formatted value to be returned, the HTML markup containing inline CSS styles in it appeared in the Currency input field on tab out. There was a workaround of unchecking "Display value using read-only formatting" on the control's presentation tab, but this has been resolved by using Post value infrastructure to get the formatted value from the server.

DragAndDrop attaching large file properly disables 'X'

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

When a large file was attached using the DragAndDrop feature, the 'X' icon/button was not disabled. This made it possible to click 'X' and perform other actions during the upload, which caused the screen to freeze and required a browser refresh to continue the work. This was traced to incomplete work done on large file uploads, and has been resolved by ensuring the busy Indicator shown will be applied to the complete screen to avoid any other actions being performed.

GetAllEmailWork temp page renamed to avoid conflict

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.4

The default Email manager portal was not displaying new email triage cases. Investigation showed that because the GetAllEmailWork and CaseBreadCrumbPopulate activities were using a common name for the clipboard page "TempPage", when CaseBreadCrumbPopulate removed the TempPage clipboard page as one of its steps a null pointer exception occurred for GetAllEmailWork. To resolve this, an update has been made to rename "TempPage" to "TempPageET" for GetAllEmailWork so the names will not conflict.

Updated JSON DT nested page property handling

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

In a JSON data transform, when using an "Update page" step on a single-page property, as a child step of an "Append and map to" step where a pagelist property is given, the pagelist was populated with only one result but the single-page property was treated like a pagelist and received multiple results. This has been resolved by updating the ClipboardJSONDeserializer implementation and downstream abstractions to support "clipboard only" relations as properties in nested PageLists.

Corrected Last Added By values for reports created in report browser

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.5

After creating a report using report browsers in the case manager portal, opening that report definition rule in Designer Studio showed the person's name who created the pydeafult report instead of the expected values for Last added by(Operator ID & Name) and Last Moved by (Operator ID & Name,Date). This has been resolved by adding steps to pzRRSaveAs which will fix the history details when making a new report in the report browser.

Template circumstancing works for report definitions

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

On circumstancing the pyMyCasesReport using the Template option, it always displayed the base report definition instead of the circumstanced one when referenced the same report in the table in section. Because the grid component called two activities 'pxRetrieveReportData' and 'pxRetrieveReportMetadata' to render the table, the step page passed to these activities was from @baseclass. This caused the circumstanced template created in work- class to not get picked up. To resolve this, updates have been made to ensure the step page to the above activities will be of the report definition class.

Mountain timezone format updated

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

If an operator was created with any calendar instance timezone mapped to "Canada/Mountain" and made unavailable for the current period, routing an assignment to that operator using the standard ToCurrentOperator activity resulted in a null pointer error when the Rule-Utility-Function was executed to find a substitute operator. This was traced to the timezone format Input to DateTimeUtils API (parseDateTimeString) having the wrong timezone, for example, 20200819T080000.000 MDT (CA), and has been resolved by modifying the locale XMLs to remove (CA) from zone code so that MDT (CA) is updated as MDT.

WorkPageName preserved during passivation so attachments are correctly tracked

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.5

When a work object was left open but inactive for a period, using the delete button in the pyAttachFieldRequired section caused the deletion of the Attachment Links for the 500 most recent attachments in the system with the same value for the AttachmentFieldName, regardless of which work object they were attached to. This was due to the delete attachments activity being executed with missing parameters: since data page loading was disabled and read-only data pages are not passivated, the value for the autopopulate property 'WorkPageName' was passed as empty. To resolve this, the data page will be preserved or reloaded as appropriate so the WorkPageName is maintained.
