Updated variable handling for filter logic to avoid reuse
Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.4
When adding the property "ItemStatus" as a filter for a report, the validation message: "This property does not exist or has no column mapping" appeared. This was traced to an empty caption for a class join property used in the filter due to RRFilters_Logic reusing the strFieldName variable, and has been resolved by updating the variable handling to use a unique name, strPropName.

Action Set Dialog features displayed correctly in App Studio Design with Firefox
Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3
When using the App Studio Design mode to edit controls and elements within section at runtime (Open Case Type in App Studio -> Save and run) and selecting a control in Design mode that has any action set configured on it, upon opening the action set clicking the Add an action link element the dialog box which appeared cut off. This was traced to an issue where Overlay was not flipped in Firefox v83.0 when the client.right value exceeded the main container width, and has been resolved by adding a condition for Firefox to use the correct client.right value as per the main container.

Added pause after Library Extraction to ensure Rule-Utility-Functions are present
Resolved in Pega Version 8.7
After upgrade from Pega 7 to Pega 8, nodes were not starting and the error "pub.context.InitializationFailedError: PRNodeImpl init failed" appeared. This was traced to an issue with the pzSharedTenant rule: when pzSharedTenant (Rule Access When) is assembled by the system, it uses the compareTwoValues Rule-Utility-Function. If the system is not able to find the correct version of compareTwoValues, it adds an UnresolvedAssemblyError in the assembly of the pzSharedTenant, causing the startup failure. This has been resolved by adding an await call after the LibraryExtraction task to wait for it to complete. This wait will ensure that the library extraction task completes before starting the search task which uses Rule-Utility-Functions

Support added for non-decimal currency notation
Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.5
Previously in the pxCurrency control, the options allowed either specifying Decimal places (2 by default) or using the locale to decide decimal places when "Use currency standard" was selected (creating the default for 2 for en_US, 0 for jp_JP and 3 for ar_JO.) However, this did not account for currencies like JPY, TWD, and HUF, which do not use decimal precision. In order to support these currencies, handling has been added to formatNumaber js and pxFormatNumber for locales which do not have decimal precision in their currency.

Multi-level strategy gives correct rules during Batch run
Resolved in Pega Version 8.7
When using a nested page structure with multi-level strategies that loop through each page and process the customer, a customer with two linked customers A and B had the results of A overridden by B during Batch Processing while single case canvas testing showed the correct results. This was caused by the DSM clipboard page method of carrying the parent page info not supporting the re-use of pages, and has been resolved by adding an enhancement that will sanitize the strategy stage processor to ensure the correct page reference is used.

Updated replica management for search clusters
Resolved in Pega Version 8.7
When using a cluster with two Universal nodes in the cluster, a daily restart process where the second node was not started until the first was fully up resulted in Search initialization failing for the first node while becoming active on the second node. This was traced to the methods used in increasing and decreasing replicas. This has been resolved by revising the handling of ElasticSearch node lifecycle and replicas through a new option "Dindex.searchNodeCount " which includes a specification for the number of expected search nodes. If this option is not present, the old method will be used.

Added safeURL encoding for Japanese characters in attached filenames
Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.5
It was not possible to preview a Japanese-titled PDF file attached on a work object. Investigation showed that in case of Japanese characters, file names were not being correctly encoded during the fetch request when JBoss was used. The retrieval worked correctly under Tomcat. In order to ensure consistent encoding, the safeURL API will be used for constructing the URL and for the activities DisplayAttachFile and pzDownloadFromRepository which add the ContentDisposition header.

Handling updated for migrated cases
Resolved in Pega Version 8.7
When performing a contact search in an interaction case that was migrated from an earlier version, clicking the Add Task button generated an exception when executing pzSendFeedbackToNLP(step 9) > pzFindTopicModel. This was traced to an unnecessarily call to pzMigrateInteractionCases each time a migrated case was opened, and has been resolved by updating the system to use JumpToLaterStep in Step1 of pzCheckAndMigrateInteractionCases to avoid calling MigrateCase again.

Timeout added for Cassandra writes
Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.4
When using Customer Decision Hub with external C* deployment, attempting to stop a data flow run which was reporting stale threads for some partitions resulted in some of the partitions continuing to run while threads were waiting on the Cassandra save operation. This has been resolved by adding configuration for a timeout when waiting for the results of the save operation, with a default of 300 seconds.
