SR-D85653 · Issue 548601

Repaired Tracer use with Google Chrome

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.1

After running Tracer while using Google Chrome, closing it and trying to run another resulted in an error indicating "Cannot Launch multiple tracer sessions for a requestor". This was identified as a bug with Google Chrome Versions greater than 70 and was caused by Chrome deprecating the use of sync XHR on page dismissal, and has been resolved by modifying the system to use a beacon API instead.

HandleResponses updated for use with optimized campaign

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

After updating from Pega 8.4, responses were not processed in the pxHandleResponses Data flow if the "pyCampaignOptimization" flag was set to true. This was traced to a missed use case for an optimized campaign, and has been resolved by modifying the condition in HandleResponses.

INC-205938 · Issue 721198

Improved handling for heavy use of PushDailyUserData

Resolved in Pega Version 8.8

The PushDailyUserData agent was causing utility node performance issues due to the amount of data it was fetching from pr_hourly table. To resolve this, an update has been made which will run the agent once per day and chunk large data.

INC-221019 · Issue 725148

Modified timestamp query used by ClusterAndDBCleaner

Resolved in Pega Version 8.8

The job pyClusterAndDBCleaner was failing with the error "ORA-01861: literal does not match format string". This was traced to the sub-activity pzClearOldQueueProcessorBrokenMessages which was not able to remove broken items with encryption in an upgraded environment due to an incorrect timestamp format passed to the Oracle database. This has been resolved by modifying the query to use a timestamp built using INativeSqlBuilder which will include only the information necessary for the deletion of the item.

SR-D79526 · Issue 544787

ClassName will be updated when element model page is updated

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.3

In the event of traversing from Parent to Child, The Declare_pyDisplay datapage in clipboard was not in sync for the Child as the Active UI Element. This was traced to reliance on the pyClassName field of data element model (Declare_pyDisplay.pyDisplay(Developer).pyUIActive(1).pyClassName) to update the client side UI based on a particular condition evaluation. Because some of the properties in the element model are updated only if the page is newly created, using a page which was already present and updating values with some other UI actions was only updating specific properties which did not include pyClassName. To support this use, modifications have been made so the pyClassName will also be updated whenever the page is updated.

Portal harness maintained when opening email link

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.3

When an email link was opened (pxOpenAssignmentLink), the portal harness was replaced with the case Perform harness. This has been resolved by ensuring the 'flex' CSS class is added for the portal harness div when using pyMobileSnapStart and a top navigation portal.

SR-D90284 · Issue 551471

Added 'when' condition to class change in ShowColorPicker activity

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.3

When using an included color picker control in a section, selecting a color resulted in the color picker pyworkpage class content changing to Embed-Skin-Controls. This has been resolved by modifying the previous behavior of always changing pyWorkPage's obj class as part of the ShowColorPicker activity by adding a 'when' condition to change the class only if it is empty.

INC-204256 · Issue 701949

Helper Text displays for radio buttons with 'when' condition

Resolved in Pega Version 8.8

The helper text overlay was not displaying on radio button fields that were conditionally visible using a 'When' rule, though it displayed as expected if a visible expression had "Run visibility condition on client" checked. This has been resolved by adding support for a helper text overlay on radio button with visibility condition (when rule).
