Filter popup persists correctly

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

When the Apply filter option was selected for a table configured with a page list property as source, the filter popup appeared on the screen but disappeared after 3 to 4 seconds. This has been resolved by enabling the stretch for tabs option in the layout group.

Upgrade compatibility enhanced for Pega-ConditionBuilder ruleset

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3

In Pega v8.2.5, the Pega-ConditionBuilder ruleset was added as part of the PegaMarketing application. When these enhancements were promoted to a platform ruleset beginning with Pega v8.4, the function names were modified with PZ/PX prefixes due to the corresponding validation standards in place for rules created in platform rulesets. Unfortunately, this introduced an upgrade impact. Due to the function name change, strategies failed when attempting to evaluate the functions configured in the filter component. Eg: @string.ContainsIgnoreCase function is part of the Pega-ConditionBuilder ruleset, which was not available. To resolve this, the following function aliases have been created in this release:ContainsIgnoreCase StartsWithIgnoreCase EndsWithIgnoreCase CompareDateTimeToSymbolicDate

Certificate updates handled across nodes

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3

An SSL handshake exception was occurring when running a Connect-REST call automatically from the flow as a background process on a background processing node. The same Connect-REST worked fine when run manually. The exception detailed the issue as "SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: None of the TrustManagers allowed for trust of the SSL certificate(s) provided by the remote server to which this client attempted a connection." This was traced to a pulse change scenario where the reloading of the certificates was not happening on all the nodes after adding a new certificate or deleting a certificate. This has ben resolved by adding the DATA-ADMIN-SECURITY-CERTIFICATE class into the UpdatesCacheUtils.java class.

Correct flow actions loaded in multi-thread portal refresh

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

The member authentication screen was displaying an incorrect flow action on doing browser refresh after creating a new interaction. Refresh is a special case where the parameter retention is different across single-threaded & multi-threaded portals alongside the execution order of activities. In this case, this inconsistency occurred in a multi-threaded portal when newAssignPage had the information to load the proper assignment but the parameter indicated an old index. This has been resolved by adding 'when' conditions to to populate and pass the correct references and labels and to honor the Param.TaskIndex set and sent by UI activities so it's retained in case of multi-thread portals.

Push notification of shape-created child case opens correct case

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

In a scenario with two cases, CaseA and its child case, CaseB, when CaseB was created from CaseA with a standard shape and a push notification was sent right after creation, the "Custom message" notification received on a mobile device opened CaseA instead of CaseB. If CaseB was created as a standalone case, the push notification opened it properly. This was traced to an edge case where the Primary.pzInsKey was empty because the child case was not available in database when the push notification payload was created by push shape, leading to the CaseID retrieved by getInstanceHandleFromPage to fetch the parent Case ID instead. This has been resolved by modifying the process to get the pzInsKey from the step page.

Action Sets in Sections working as expected

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

When adding actions to a table, the action sets were not always saved correctly. Sometimes actions from one actions set were moved to a new action set without any event, which seemed to occur when there were multiple actions defined for each action set. This was traced to the open of the table property panel in the activity Embed-Harness-SectionBody-Grid.pzGridActionSets activity. This activity sets data for the action set display, including setting a “pyKeyCode” property. The “pyKeyCode” property is not set correctly in certain scenarios, causing the selected action/behavior to not be saved correctly. This has been resolved by changing the local param-pzGridActionSets: TempKeyCode to string.

Corrected mobile tab layout highlighting

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.3

When switching between three tabs in a layout group (Other Mobile Tabs) in a section, the highlight was appearing on the active tab and the inactive tabs. This has been resolved by updating the CSS generation to not consider hover styles for touchable devices.

InsID will be derived from handle if null for upgrade

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

Upgrade from Pega 7 to Pega 8 failed with a null pointer exception in the “Upgrade Context” target. This was traced to a rule where the pxInsID was null. To resolve this, an update has been made to derive the InsID from handle when needed.

Updated background refresh for off-screen worklist

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

After update, performance impacts were seen on the field service mobile app. This was traced to Worklist refresh, and has been resolved by adding an update which will postpone the refresh when the worklist webview is in the background (not visible on the screen).

Helper text added to improve close icon accessibility

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

After opening a report, the "X" close icon was not read by JAWS and was not functional when JAWS was running. Investigation showed that the ReportEditorHeader section did not have Helper Text for the Close icon; this has been added to improve accessibility.
