Resolved SSO logout error

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.5

After configuring prconfig/initialization/Urlencryption/default -> true and prconfig/initialization/SubmitObfuscatedURL/default -> required, logging in to any portal using SSO resulted in a 400 error when trying to log out. This has been resolved by adding a call to the encryption Rule-Utility-Function while calling logoff activity from 'pzSingleLogoutServiceRedirectV2'.

SAML enhancements added with OperatorContext availability fix

Resolved in Pega Version 7.4

The activity pyEstablishOperatorContext availability was incorrectly marked as final. This has been fixed and is "Available, Extension". In addition, many other enhancements have been added towards the goal of no-code configuration of SAML SSO authentication. SAML SSO is the most widely used authentication in production, but has historically required complex custom code. Please see the release notes for more information about Single Page UI Configuration and Adaptive Design for Authentication Run-time.

SAML data pages restored after passivation

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.4

If login used SAML SSO, resuming the session after passivation resulted in missing or empty data pages when using an SAP integration with Pega Cloud. This was traced to a security change that modified the D_SAMLAssertionDataPage and D_SamlSsoLoginInfo data pages as readonly, causing them to not be passivated under these conditions. To resolve this, the data pages have been made editable so they will be restored as expected. This change also resolves any difficulty with SAML logoff activities in conjunction with SAP and Pega Cloud.

Fixed dropdown issues when using Google Chrome

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2.2

The following issues were noted when using the Google Chrome browser: when selecting values from drop down in collapsible header, the section did not refresh according to selection; when the drop down was expanded, it loaded in front of collapsible header; when trying to select values which were within a collapsible header, the header became collapsed. These issues were due to the function expandHeader not being called in Google Chrome, and the function will now be called accordingly.

Removed ORDER BY clause duplication when using MSSQL

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.5

After updating from Pega 8.4 to Pega 8.7, executing the query for the report definition generated the error "SQLServerException: Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'ORDER'." Investigation showed the ORDER BY clause was added to the Native SQL query from the standard dataflow background task and from the native SQL API as well when using an MSSQL database. This has been resolved by adding changes to restrict the order by clause if the SQL query has order by clause already for MSSQL.

Empty hidden elements stripped when AAR proxy in use

Resolved in Pega Version 7.4

When using IIS WebServer and AAR proxy configuration with high security settings, submitting a form through Microsoft Internet Explorer with hidden input fields that did not have a name attribute resulted in a blank parameter name and value being added. This formed an invalid request that returned a HTTP 200 with no error message. Because Microsoft Internet Explorer does not ignore elements which have empty names, the code has been updated to remove name attributes on pycustomerrorsection hidden elements.

Summary report count fixed when using filter prompt

Resolved in Pega Version 7.4

The summary data count was not getting updated in a report unless the "Prompt for filter changes before displaying report" option on Report Viewer tab (Actions -> Refresh) was unchecked. This was an error in the refresh code related to the display prompt filter check and has been corrected.
