SR-A9198 · Issue 218533

Text retrieval for deprecated "Query" button updated for universal browser support

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2

The Firefox popup window provided by the Product rule when querying "Individual Instances to Include" failed to transpose the selected rule information back into the Product ruleform when the OK button was clicked. This was due to the use of the deprecated "Query" button, which does not have support for all browsers, to launch the ListView. To handle this, the node text retrieval method in DataInstancesQueryScript has been updated to use the 'textContent' function (compatible with all browsers) instead of the previous 'innerText'.

Target stale check added to cascading dropdowns

Resolved in Pega Version 7.4

The system was hanging when hovering on the drop down after selecting a parameter for which the dropdown did not have any values. This was due to the target element becoming stale when cascaded dropdowns were used, and has been fixed by adding a check for this condition.

SR-A7482 · Issue 220320

Reset validation activity for deferred loading with alternate page context

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2

If a section was configured to use a defer load activity and the page context was set to something other than the defer load activity class, the defer load activity was not visible when attempting to set the pre-load activity and an error was generated. This was caused by a change to the defer load activity validation that pointed to the using page class instead of the previously used section class. The validation has now been reset to to use the section class instead of using page class in order to support rendering on a different page.

CalendarGadget updated to display events in Saudi locale

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

When using the pxCalendar section with the locale setting ar_SA, the calendar was correctly converted to a Saudi calendar but the events which were showing in the English version of the calendar were not showing up in in the Saudi Calendar. This was caused by the CalendarGadget page not populating properly due to the localized Hijri calendar failing a datetime check that was looking for a Gregorian calendar with time in GMT format, and has been resolved by updating the when rule "pzShouldDisplayEvent " to use the proper function for the localized calendar.

Localized labels displaying in Safari

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2

Localized headers were not displaying properly on Safari browsers if the Fat List mode was used for the grid headers. Rendering worked as expected using Field Value mode. This was an issue with localized labels not rendering properly when the width of the Safari browser is reduced, and has been fixed. In addition, an issue with the header values being added dynamically instead of using constant values for a mobile browser grid using responsive mode has also been fixed.

Fixed RD "Report on Descendant" access to application page

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2

A report definition using the "Report on Descendant" option worked when executed from a user session but did not work when executed by a File Listener Process. This was due to the report not being able to access the application page in the batch requestor context, and has been corrected.

JAWS reads shortcut labels with custom controls

Resolved in Pega Version 7.4

JAWS was not reading the modal dialog title and some inside content for GDIT. This was due to JAWS only reading the value and not the label for pyShortcutTitle and pyShortcutDescription as they are displayed using a custom control. To fix this, the system will use formatted text for pyShortcutTitle and pyShortcutDescription when pxRequestor.pyPegaDesignMode != 'true'.

SR-B11713 · Issue 330837

Completed mobile cases accurately reflected in desktop

Resolved in Pega Version 7.4

When using an offline mobile app to run and complete a flow, the work object on the desktop was not showing a "Completed" status when opened but was instead stuck in one of the previous assignments. This was traced to an issue with the back processing of a case behaving differently in desktop and mobile when looping was present, and has been resolved with modifications to the pega_process_engine.js file.
