SR-B39484 · Issue 296141

Calculation Builder made more robust for use in segments

Resolved in Pega Version 7.3

An error was generated when using the Calculation Builder in a segment, though the Calculation Builder for Report Definition worked. This was traced to code in the Calculation Builder which assumed the report page class would always be "Rule-Obj-Report-Definition", which failed for segments. To correct this, the logic has been modified to be more robust.

Error messaging updated for using Float parameter in RUF

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3

After upgrade, using an RUF that had a float as an input parameter as part of its signature resulted in any callers providing a double type as an input generating an exception. This has been resolved by forcing a NumberFormatException to be thrown within the IL model when encountering a float value ('1.2f' or '1.2F') as the Double.valueOf() API used in IL correctly parses these values to double.

Setting added to customize using blank Map values

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.1

After update to from Pega 6 to Pega 8 some of the Map Value rules were not working. This was due to the handling for blank default values which was changed in Pega 7. In order to support backwards compatibility, a new 'when' rule has been added which allows customizing whether or not blank values are allowed for the Map value default columns. pyAllowBlankValues will default to "false".

Password expiry logic updated to use start of day

Resolved in Pega Version 7.3

Previously, the password expiry logic was based on a tight format of number of days+ timeStamp. This caused scenarios such as not prompting for a password reset when user logs in, but rather at the exact time stamp of the previous change even if that comes in the middle of work and throws the user out of the session. To avoid this behavior, the password expiry logic is now based on number of days logic with timeStamp defaulted to start of day (00.00) taking care of locale and getting difference in number of days.

Updated Attach Content Control for use in repeat grid

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3

When using Attach Content Control in a repeat grid, selecting a file via attachcontent control and submitting the page resulted in the message "The operation completed successfully, but returned no content". This was traced to the newassignPage being removed after closing the modal, causing finishassignment to fail. To resolve this, the Attach Content Control function has been modified to set the needed grid attributes for desktop implementation to ensure newAssignPage will be available to the attach content modal action.

External mapping definitions will be used for exported property names

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3

Under the "External Mapping" tab on the class definition, if the property names specified were not the exact format as the column names defined in the database table, an exception was generated when using the "Export" feature. For this functionality, the system was generating an SQL which used the property names instead of column names. This resulted in an invalid column exception and the export did not work. To correct this, updates have been made to NativeSqlApiResolver in the function resolver to check for the property name and replace it with mapping defined in external mapping.

Support added for using OpenMobile app as a Navigation action

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3

After adding a menu item to the pyCaseWorkerNavigation navigation rule that was configured to use the open mobile app action with a mobile app ID of opensignal, the menu item was displayed in the mobile app but clicking on it did nothing for the user and the JavaScript console logged the error "Cannot open mobile app without scheme". The same action worked as expected when called from a button. This was traced to the "OpenMobileApp" action not containing support for being used as Navigation action, and the necessary code for that use has now been added.

Corrected test connection for LDAP AuthService using keystore

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.4

When using a AuthService rule defined for LDAP using ldaps:// and a KeyStore rule that was defined to reference a local file in the server, the Test Connection button on the AuthService rule did not work and generated the following exception: "com.pega.apache.commons.httpclient.contrib.ssl.AuthSSLInitializationError: I/O error reading keystore/truststore file: null". Investigation showed that file reference keystore did not work with an LDAPS test connection because while run time used the LDAPVerifyCredentials activity, the design time validation used the activity “ValidateInfrastructure” which did not have the required code to support file reference keystore. This has been corrected.

Corrected PDF generation when an image filename has special characters

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3

When using Export to PDF with an uploaded image file that had special characters in its name, the images were missing from the generated document. This has been corrected by updating the decoding of the URL to not remove the checksum when using RTE.
