Corrected page passivation for parameterized data pages

Resolved in Pega Version 7.3

A null-pointer exception error was generated when performing findPage() on a parameterized Data page after the page/thread was passivated and restored. This was traced to a situation where a page with meta data was not correctly saved while passivating due to a failed condition check on last update time, and has been resolved with changes to the EditDataPageHandler to update the access time whenever page is loaded from findDataPage() method.

Multistage Prediction Logic improved

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

When Predictions with Response wait time configured were executed as part of make decision, each decision that came out of the strategy caused a pxDR call to fetch the relevant model execution results and process them to stage the default outcome results for models. This has been improved by modifying the system to process the existing records rather than reading data again from pxDR.

Improved Agile Studio passivation recovery

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

When an Agile Studio session was passivated, the error "SECU0008 : CSRF Detected and Blocked" was seen. Reactivating the session resulted in a blank page. This was traced to the clearing of requestor level registrations added for that particular thread, and has been resolved by adding a new flag to identify if a thread is passivated along with the necessary structure for the conditionalized clearing of requestor level registrations based on this flag.

Hazelcast packages expanded for Java9+ with kubernetes

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

Hazelcast warnings were seen in cluster logs when Hazelcast was run in embedded mode or c/s mode on a java modular environment i.e. java 9+ which noted that performance and functional impact issues may result if certain internal modules of java are not given reflection access. This update provides the necessary access to some additional java internal modules/packages per the Hazelcast recommendation.

Table header aria label updated

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

In a PegaWAI enabled application with the NVDA screen reader, a table header column which had filtering enabled was read as "Column Name Enter to Filter" on the first focus, but the filter operation did not work on hitting enter. When focus was moved to the second tab, the filter worked as expected. This was traced to an incorrect aria-label in the table header description, and has been resolved.

Handling updated for customDateTime formatting

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

When a feature date was entered, for example as 2021/07/29 12:00:00 AM, changing any other property caused the time to be off by 4 hours and display as 2021/07/28 08:00:00 PM. Investigation showed this was caused by the parameters being passed in an incorrect order while calling pega.ui.Formatter.formatDateTime() in combination with customTimeZone, and has been resolved.

Resolved null-pointer exception at ReferencePropertyLinkToCommonParent

Resolved in Pega Version 7.3

When a reference property (liked via top level page) was copied with-in the page (intrapage), an null-pointer exception would be generated by a bad link if the number of levels in the new property differed from the original. The issue was traced to an error in the After Copy duplicator that did not correctly evaluate the target property in all environments. More robust testing has led to refinements on the duplicator to resolve this issue.

ServicePackage threads properly released

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

After completing a system stress test, the requestor pool threads for the ServicePackage were not released. Investigation showed that the threads were waiting for Data Pages to be loaded in the background even though there was no background job corresponding to those data pages in the Async Services pool. This has been resolved by making an update to avoid removing the object handlers when the load-datapage finds that an entry exists with a NOT_STARTED state.

Handling added to StreamChangeTracker for non-String mode

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

Incorrect StreamChangeTracker mode properties were being tracked for value changes. Investigation showed this was due to the StreamChangeTracker.trackValueChanges API tracking value changes on properties of mode page and page list, which resulted in logging a WrongModeException in the logs. This has been resolved by updating the behavior of the StreamChangeTracker.trackValueChanges API to return false when value change tracking is invoked for a property other than mode String.
